Oh, Whitney...

Hello there, my luscious Ladies!  How are you today?  A little more relaxed, I hope.  Well I hope that everything is going nice and smoothly for you, and that you having fun doing what you do.  I do enjoy what I do.  Well, I enjoy doing what I enjoy to do.  😀  I love to sing, but there are songs that I don't want to sing.  And I love Whitney, but she's out of my range.  My dreams are telling to try, though.  Has that ever happened to you?  Your dreams telling you to do something?  Anyway, I intend to follow this inspiration as far as I am able.  I can't let it compromise the other dead singers I have to channel.  I definitely more like Karen Carpenter than Whitney Houston.  Janis is out of my range too, but I can do a few songs of hers.  But if I do too many, then it ruins the rest of the set.  I think that would be the same case with Whitney.

Hi there, my beautiful Ladies!  How are we feeling today?  Not too restless, I hope.  Just relax, and enjoy the ride.  My dreams have been bugging me to sing more Whitney, but she's out of my range.  I just can't go that high, so it's a good thing one doesn't have to go high to express beauty and femininity.  Doris knew what note the wall is for me: check out the song below, and what she says to me.

 However, "I Have Nothing" doesn't use that note so I just might be able to sing it.  I can't sing all singers, like Amy Winehouse: I have absolutely nothing in common with that woman.  I can connect with Whitney to some level.  I love Whitney, but to be honest I haven't heard all her stuff, so I guess I need to study more.  The music from "The Bodyguard" seems to be her peak, so I'll focus on that and before.  No, I can't sing "I'll Always Love You."  Out of the question.

The coffee's not working...

Hi Erin! How are you, Honey?  How's business?  I assume you are very busy.  I hope you make lots of money for yourself, and you have a great time doing so.  Oh, I'm so drowsy!  The coffee didn't work today, and I almost fell asleep on my feet.  What's the solution?  More coffee?  I need a gopher!  I'm putting myself into a trance, usually a nap before the set plus coffee works fine, but today was especially sleep inducing.  I need more naps.  I want to snuggle with you!

But I kept busy instead.  I ate a lot today.  My Mom gave me some food, then I had food in the cooler, then I had to buy food at the night market.  I thought I did well at the diet, all of my pants are loose.  I guess I will have to get strict with myself again.  I don't want to fast more.  I want that coffee in the afternoon.  It usually works.  😫

It's Sunday, and it's usually a busy day for me, just doing chores.  I did go out in the evening, it's too wet to work in the yard because of last night's rain.  I bought more chocolate.  I'm getting hooked on chocolate.  I hate chocolate ice cream, but I love a good chocolate bar.  Fruit and nut.  I also bought some potato chips and honey.  Then for dinner, I ate out.  I had fried noodles.  Want some?

Home made beef jerky

Hi there, my luscious Ladies!  How's it going today?  How's business?  I hope your life is easy going, and you are having tons of fun and making lots of money for yourself.  It's been a long day for me.  I woke up early, because I have a kitchen project going.  I'm making home made beef jerky, which is a 2 day investment.  Actually I'm making what the locals call "serondeng", which looks like pulled beef but drier, and you don't add any sauce to it, so I refer to it as beef jerky.  I boiled the beef last night, and all this morning I cooked the beef with spices in a wok at low heat, constantly turning and stirring until it dried up.  I didn't want to make it too dry though: the locals seem to prefer it dry and stringy, but I wanted mine to be juicier.  Well, moister.  The locals usually eat "serondeng" with "ketupat", which is glutenous rice stuffed into packets made with coconut leaves then steamed:

Don't ask me how they fold those packets, I have no idea.  The locals do it regularly though, and they churn them out like machines.  Here's what the thing looks like after peeled:

I think my "serondeng" was a success, alhamdulillah.  Some people may prefer it dry, but I wanted it moist.  Thus, my beef jerky tastes like ribeye steak.  Very addictive.  I made almost 2 kilos of the stuff, and I could eat it all in one sitting.  There goes my diet.
