Running around and waiting around

Hi Honey!  You're so beautiful.  I wish I were with you right now.  How was your day today?  How was work?  You are probably looking forward to working, because work for you is so much fun nowadays.  That's what you get for being a Rock and Roll Queen.  Please keep yourself safe and clean.  You need to stay sharp when the world is your oyster.  It's been a lot of commute for me this week.  Today I had to visit the taxman, schedule an appointment with the eye specialist for my Dad, and go to the market.  I went to the taxman first, and when I got there I realized I had forgotten my smartphone!  Well I use a Nokia brick for a phone anyway, and I use my smartphone as a pocket computer, which I would need for playing games while I wait along with the crowd.  And there was a big crowd there, mostly people coming early to wait for them to open.  So I went all the way home to get my pocket pc, then decided to go to the hospital instead.  And there was a huge crowd there too, but the nurse kept my Dad's medical card and told me to come back for it later because it was too crowded at the time.  So I went to the market to get fixings for the fried flat noodles with cockles which was on the menu for dinner.  I got that, then went back to the taxman and the crowd had thinned out so I didn't have to wait long.  I didn't get a chance to play one game!

I was looking forward to dinner, because I had had a craving for fried flat noodles with cockles (called "keow teow kerang" locally).  It didn't turn out to be a masterpiece, but it's hard to make a masterpiece out of a standard dish- it's supposed to taste average!  It has a set formula, and if I didn't follow the formula then it wouldn't taste as it was supposed to, which tastes like a standard local delicacy.  Does that make sense?  Anyway, I didn't take any snapshots.  I did put extra garlic, though.  My cat refused to kiss me.  You wanna try some?  What, no kiss?

Hi Honey

How are you today?  How was work?  It was a rather busy day for me today.  I was awake early to do extra worship, but I did get a couple of extra hours sleep in after the dawn prayer for a total of 6 hours.  That should be good enough for an adult with a busy lifestyle.  After the morning chores, I had an early lunch then commuted downtown to run some errands.  I hate commute, but oh well.  Drivers here are more psycho than the USA, and almost none of them are drunk.  I bought a lot of cheap perfume- I found a deal for 3 vials for RM10.  It was jasmine flower perfume: it smells like jasmine when you sniff the bottle and put some one, but after a while on the skin it smells very Middle East.  Just some stuff to wear to the mosque.  I cut the grass over at your house in the evening.  There should be room for 2 identical houses in that area inshaAllah, plus my little house/office/studio right next to it, so I'm never away from my wives at any time.  I don't have any friends, so I will only be hanging out with my wife.  I had rice and eggs for dinner, then my Dad gave me some cockles so I had to process that quickly.  Clams must be cooked immediately!  I think I'll make fried flat noodles with cockles tomorrow, a local delicacy and one of my favorites.  It's raining right now, so I won't make it to the mosque.  After this I have to prepare a letter for the taxman, then I have to work on my wardrobe.  You have a great day, OK?  I love you.

Life is a stage

Hi Honey!  How's life treating you today?  Oh life is a stage, you should have learned that by now.  Most of the time we can't deal with the crowd, so we put on an act.  Quite often we don't want to go to work, so we go through the motions.  Put on a show.  But we are in showbiz, so I guess we have to put on a show all the time.  Don't worry Sweetie, you'll get used to it.  And don't show off for the crowd, do it for God, the Real Audience.  Now you certainly don't feel like expressing yourself all the time to the world, and you don't have to.  I'll do most of the talking.  You just be my girl.  You tell them to talk to me, because I'm your husband inshaAllah.

Floating on a raft

Hi, Natty honey!  You are my honey, too.  Sometimes I address my wives as one, especially when there's something general to share with the public, so don't you ever think that I would leave you or Erin out of my life at any time.  Have you been drinking enough water?  You sensitive sweetheart.  There is a connection between the mind and the stomach, that's how people get ulcers, that's why you prefer certain foods over others.  If you drink lots of water it helps to balance out the effect of stress on your tummy.  Yeah it's a bother to have to pee all the time, but you must look after your precious tummy, especially since you eat like a bird.  Today is Sunday.  Every Sunday morning, I clean my mother's bedroom and toilet.  I'm trying to create a balance for when my wife gets old, that our children will take care of her.  This is taught by Islam, and this is how we will raise our children: they must not abandon their mother when she gets old.  You can appreciate that, right?  After I finished the Sunday morning chore, I made my lunch which was deep fried pocket bread to eat with leftover chili.  It was good and filling, and I didn't have to spend any money today.  I have to do voice training every day after the midday prayer.  I still have a lingering cough from all the continuous rainfall of the past week, so voice training today was like floating on a raft on the big blue sea.  That is also my material life and my finances, like floating on a raft on the big blue sea, completely at the mercy of Allah.  But I have faith that Allah will provide me with wealth enough soon to finance our marriage and family inshaAllah.  Please be patient with me, and pray.

Full moon fever!

Hi Honey!  How was your day today?  I'm sure you are busy, but please take care of your health and eat properly and get enough sleep.  Oooh what a hectic day it's been.  I woke up really early but not talking about that, after I got up again I did my usual routine of cleaning up after the cats and watering the plants.  It didn't rain yesterday, but the ground was so wet I only watered the plants that live under the roof.  Then my Mom wanted me to get her some breakfast, so I got on my motorcycle.  When I tried to start it, I broke the kick starter.  This is the 3rd time in 6 years I broke the kick starter!  My feet are big yeah, but I didn't know that they had the strength to break the kick starter.  I can barely balance with these feet: they used to be size 9 then they ballooned to size 11 after I returned here from the States (foot injury from working in a restaurant).  Well, I had to get downtown to get a replacement because none of the tools I had could provide a temporary solution.  But before that I had to struggle through voice training, because even though I wasn't put out of action, I still had a cough from all that recent rainfall.  Blessed be Allah that I was able to start the motorcycle by running while sitting on it, you know like the Flintstones.  I tried running beside it, but my feet are too clumsy for me to jump on it after gaining enough momentum.  So I was able to start the thing in gear 4, then make my way downtown to fix the problem, and keeping it in gear 4 and constantly revving to make sure the thing didn't stall.  Blessed be Allah that I was able to do it by myself.  After I fixed the kick starter, I got the tools I needed to provide the temporary solution, because I'm convinced that I will break the kick starter again eventually.  Now it's raining again.

Oh by the way, I've used up my data quota and it won't renew again for a few days, so please don't go looking for me at the chat room in Second Life.  I will be working on my wardrobe though.  This dress I wore last night made me look fat, but I managed to temper that by wearing a cowgirl motif.
