So am I at the moment. After I write this letter, I will take a shower then head out to the mosque. They usually slaughter livestock on the day after the Eid to give to the people, I'm sure you remember my posting some photos of that. They had 4 steer last year which resulted in some waste, but this time I plan to stick around to the end and pick up some bones for stew or something, if any. Not that I'm hoping for anything at all, I don't like the waste. They only have 2 steer this year anyway. I helped them out last year but I was mostly in the way, and some guy almost cut my hand. I'm just leaving the zealous to do their thing while I watch today. I'm bringing my smartphone, maybe I'll take a nap while I wait.

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
27. Say, "Show me those who you have joined with God as partners... by no means! No, God is Allah, the Exalted in Power, the Wise."
28. We have not sent you but as a messenger to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them, but most men understand not.
29. They say,"When is this promise, if you are telling the truth?"
30. Say, "The appointment to you is for a Day, which you cannot put back for an hour, nor put forward."
31. The unbelievers say, "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in that before it." Could you but see when the wrongdoers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones, "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!"

Spoiled brat cat
Ah, I have to hurry! Busy day! Anyway, Floofy is turning into a real spoiled brat cat. She can't eat dry cat food anymore, so I make her own fish smoothies. AND she gets 3 meals a day, while the others get only 2. AND she aggressively attacks my food, even while I'm still trying to cook it. She has become quite stout, so she can easily beat up her daughters and poor Chee Cheah. So I have to lock her up in the kitty litter room while everyone else eats.
"Don't eat their food, Floofy. You have your own food. That cat food plugs you up and almost killed you the last time."
"Hiss!"
What am I going to do with her? I love her so much, I can't deny her anything! I hope you're not like that, Erin. Please don't eat their food. Please don't beat them up.

What's in a name?
Oh, you're so sweet and cheerful and optimistic. Yes I know you're moody too, but still you're so sweet and cheerful and optimistic. And you know what? I don't want anything bad to ever happen to you. I would give my life to shelter you, because I love you. But life is not set up that way. Life is supposed to be difficult. If one has an easy life, it means that one will have a difficult death. I will most likely to be the first one to go, so we must train the kids to look after their mother when she gets old. Please remember that and burn it into your heart. They will NOT do so automatically. They MUST be trained.
Today is Independence Day. No, I didn't go to see the parade. I haven't seen a parade in decades. I'm just not a parades kind of guy. Actually, I'm fasting today. Today is the 9th day of the month of Zulhijjah, which the 9th day of the hajj ritual, and the Prophet (peace be on him) said that anyone who fasts today will have their sins forgiven for the past year and the year to come. Great investment, I say. Tomorrow is the Eid. It's not made into a big hoopla like the Eid of Ramadan, but I don't really celebrate much on that day either. What did I do on that day? I think I cut the grass. I'm not much of a public holidays kind of guy. It's all the same old day to me.
I think I posted this video before, but I'm going to post it again today, so I hope you watch it because I think you will like it. I first got into Dr. Buscaglia back in college. Oh, back then I thought love could save the world! I was full of it. Definitely. Now decades later, I discovered that strength was the most useful asset towards happiness. Or better yet, the love of God (namely God's strength). Oh I still like Dr. Hug, even though I don't do much hugging nowadays. I feel what the love philosophy is all about, is about being NICE. And I will be nice. Selectively. 😁

Be the Rock and Roll Queen
Hey the music might be a bit scary, but this is only the beginning. So put whatever fear you feel in God, then surf the great wave. Have tons of fun. Have tons of fun being my Rock and Roll Queen. Since people can't figure me out, they are going to look at you and see how beautiful you are. Please pray. Again, we are only beginning.
Since I loathe the press, I'm only going to talk about the music here in this blog. But not all right now, just whenever I feel like it. The press are only interested in what is profitable and political to them, so let them be that way. Perhaps they will acquire the complete opposite of what they desire.

That drummer sounds like a helicopter...
I'm sorry Erin, but I won't high five you right now. I'm too sexually aroused. I don't want to make a mess in my shorts and have it pop out all over the place. But please save that swimsuit for use in the bedroom.
Natty, you like the drums huh? Hey, don't flash your eyes at me! I always thought that was a very angry drummer. He's a tyrant though- you have to play the song his way or the highway. I don't know how I'm going to approach the next album- I don't have a drum set any more. I suppose I could just use a computer, but a real drum set has more power. Nothing can match the emotion and error of acoustic drums. Congratulations on your Valentino spread, by the way. You look like a real lady.
