I don't want to rule the world

I was gathering coconut trash over at your house inshaAllah so I could burn them, when I heard someone crying.  It was a little Bat Cat kitten, crying his heart out, coming towards me.  I picked him up, and saw that he had wandered into a nest of army ants, and there were a few clinging on to him.  I removed the ants.  He was only about the size of a mouse, but he was chubby, so I guessed that could not have been a wild kitten.  And I was right: I saw his mother staring at me on the other side of the fence at the neighbor's house.  So I put him down over the fence in front of his mother, and guess who was there: Bob Cat!  Bobby had left home when he became big and strong.  Sometimes he would show himself to me, but otherwise I wouldn't see him at all.  But he was there just now, right where I put down the kitten, staring at me.  It occurred to me that he was the father!  Then it occurred to me that Floofy is now a grandma!

I told the guys at Kuula the other day that the male has to be ready at all times.  We were talking about cats, of course.

Meanwhile, the Big Machine cranks along.

Woman

Yes, you are a woman.  I will love you, and take you as mine.  InshaAllah, I will marry you, give you your own house, feed and clothe you and our children, and I will help protect you but Allah is the Best to Protect.  We will shop together, we will cook together, we will eat together, we will plant food crops and flowers together, we will spend our nights together.  You can be with me when I sing every day, if it doesn't put you to sleep.  You will find me there with you, working on my laptop while you do whatever it is you do.  We will go on long hikes together, or rather you can run and I'll be on the motorcycle right beside you, and if you get too lazy to run then we can go get ice cream instead.  And after we turn out the light and fall asleep, you can crawl onto the floor with me.  I will do all this with you, inshaAllah.  I will gaze uppn your face and thank God for how beautiful you are.

You are not every woman in the world to me, you are my wife inshaAllah.  So I have to turn away from all other women in the world in favor of you, because you are my wife.  Except my mother, of course.

Only The Lonely

Hello Erin my love, how are you feeling today?  I hope you are doing well, and are healthy and confident.  You are so beautiful to me, and how I long to be with you, for us to be together.  I hope you are taking good care of yourself and keeping safe.  You are my love, you are so precious to me, and I love you.

Natty, are you twiddling your fingers again?  I told you that we need to be patient and pray, so please be patient and pray.  I feel you are finding out that even when we get more than what most people could ever hope for, it's not enough.  Because life is not perfect.  Perfection is for the next life.  But for now, please know that I am with you, and I will not abandon you inshaAllah.  You are such a beautiful girl.

I feel lonely too.  But please protect your chastity, and pray.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is my Dad's 80th birthday.

I hope you are feeling and doing great, and keeping safe.  If you are going to restaurants, please make sure that you are well dressed, even though your company may be dressed down.  Please note that a food product endorsement is not limited to restaurants, but any food that you buy from the supermarket, the bakery, etc.  Just relax, and eat what you like.  I love you.

For lunch today, I had noodles in soup.  Very Asian of me, huh?  For dinner I had pizza, and I made my Dad a pizza too.  Oh, I forgot to take a snapshot of that!

Emotions

Sorry I'm late.  Erin, you do know I'm sure, that you can make endorsements of food products?  The beauty of it is that with you, it gets tied up in sports and modeling.  More money, perhaps?  Well, one can only need so much money I guess.  We can get so emotional in anticipation, but I can't really do much without getting the money first.  InshaAllah.  Then I will have to take it slow, so there be few mistakes.

It's nice to be happy, isn't it Natty?  It would be nicer to be happy together.  But life isn't supposed to be easy.  We're supposed to be patient, and work.  So please be patient, and pray.  The bottom line is, that everything is about God.

Peter Tosh is a riddle.  He grew up poor, suffered throughout his life, championed the poor, and died a terrible death.  Why was he killed by someone he helped?  Why did God test him that way?  Was it because he was arrogant?  I don't know.  All I know, is that you can't save everybody.  I have to protect my family.  I will give to the poor inshaAllah, but they will have to receive it from the mosque.

And Natty, you are so happy you can hardly stand!  I glad to see your brother is OK.  Did you go café hopping all by yourself?  Food business is big business Natty, so make sure you dress sharp.  Your bosses should dress you up and buy you dinner at the more expensive places.  Just enjoy the food you like and take snapshots.  Take snapshots of the food and the place.  Now you be careful when you drive around on that Vespa.  Wear a helmet, OK?  You're so precious to me.
