Grace, nailing the guitar solo for "Crazy Train" in front of that crowd right after Ozzy died was the right thing to do.  When you get older and look back on the past couple of weeks, you will wish you could relive them.  I wish I could have been there with you.  I hope you were fucking loud.

Look at how this musician spent his money.  I would be grateful for any one of those tube amps.  Look at all the children's toys that he never opened.  A lonely song for all the birthdays and Christmases he didn't celebrate.  It's not my song, though.  I don't have any money.

Yeah for sure, Mary can rile people up even when they're sober.  But it was that guitar solo from "Crazy Train" that pushed them over the edge.

Grace, if the crowd is scaring you then take Mary back to your bedroom and stream from there.  You don't have to show your face.  You need the money.  You have to buy kibble.

Admit it: you want one of those stars.  But there's too many of them that it's boring, and they all get stepped on.  And you would be placed on the same level as El Pimpo.

The day after Dimebag Darrell died, I went to the hairdresser in Tempe, AZ.  I told her a famous guitarist got murdered on stage and she reacted with amusement, eyes wide open and a big smile.

The marathon

 

Integrity is a marathon.  It's nice to have nice people who are loyal.  It's a shame about the people you love who don't stick around.  They probably have families.

Know this for sure Honey, especially when you're out and about alone on your skateboard: don't rely on the crowd for help.  They are there just to watch the spectacle.  At best, they will be too late.  So be smart, and plan ahead for your movements in real time.  Prevention is the only worthwhile justice.
