Aging well

 

Hi Natty!  Hi Honey!  How are the holidays?  I hope you are having fun, and keeping safe.  I'm doing OK, I'm munching on curry pups.  That usually means that I cut the grass in the evening. Sorry I'm running late, I had to do some research for today's post.  It wasn't about aging well, actually I had an 80s movie I wanted to talk about starring Madeleine Stowe.  Actually, I'm not sure it was Madeleine Stowe.  But I couldn't find the exact face I was looking for, so it looks like Madeleine Stowe gets the part.

It's set in the 80s of course, about a singer who had a really nice song.  It was the only song she was good at, but it's a great song.  It had that 80s dance beat to it, like "Gloria" by Laura Branigan.  She had been peddling this song around everywhere hoping to make it a hit, but nobody wanted to help her.  Until she met a small town boy who heard her sing the song, and fell in love with it and her.  He asked to be her manager, and she agreed.  They fell in love.  They both went everywhere they could, wherever they would let her sing that song, from big city dives to small town diners.  They worked very hard, and eventually her song played on the radio.  A one hit wonder!  The couple was ecstatic, and went to a theater to celebrate.  But they were stalked by a man who was jealous of her boyfriend.  On the dark steps of the theater, the jealous man ambushed the couple and struck the boyfriend on the throat with a blunt object.  The boyfriend fell to the ground mortally wounded, and the attacker fled into the night.  Weeping, the singer stole a bicycle that was nearby and gave chase to the attacker.  But she got run over by a bicycle race, and died.

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  How are the holidays coming?  I hope everything is going smoothly for you, and you are feeling great.  I love you!  I'm receiving more videos on the Balenciaga incident, here are a couple that might interest you.  The first one is rather opinionated, but it does list persons and artifacts that are connected.  The exhibits of scandal, for example a photo of a teddy bear in bondage, don't strike me of worthy of breaking any law of any country, not even Muslim country.  All I see is a lot of innuendo.  Of course, many groups of people live their lives on innuendo.  Perhaps sexual innuendo can bring about a sexual harassment lawsuit?  Of a child?  By the way, does this Balenciaga affair have anything to do with abortion?  Anybody?  Or children's rights?  Anybody?  Or the rights of the helpless?  Anybody?  Anybody?

The next video is a brief history of the Balenciaga brand, from its founder to the current creative director.  So you want to be visionary.  Experimentation is essential, but be prepared to perish along with your success/failure.  As far as I understand, the body of Madame Curie still glows to this very day of radiation.

Kitten update

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope you are having a fabulous holidays, and keeping safe and healthy.  I'm doing OK.  I've been receiving more videos on the Balenciaga/Kardashian scandal, and none from the Balenciaga perspective.  I think the one above is funny, but the best part is when the protester pointed her bullhorn right at the leatherboy's face, even though he was right in front of her.

The kittens are doing quite well, alhamdulillah.  All their eyes have opened, and they are quite active when awake.  As you can see, they like to crawl all over their mother.  Dammit, I need a better camera.  They also like to cry a lot.  They still hiss and spit at me, except when their mother is present.
