Hi Natty!  How are you today, Sweetheart?  Aw I long to be with you Honey, and don't we all wish we were as beautiful as you.  Are you hungry?  I took my mother to the market this morning, and I bought stuff to make won tons.  Won ton skins are tedious to roll by hand, and it's about RM 3.50 for a hundred skins.  Ugh... I don't even want to think about the labor of rolling out skins by hand.  I use tofu and fish for stuffing, and making stuffed won tons are tedious period.  Frying them up is quick though, and eating them is quick too.  Oh Natty, they are so addictive.  Go to a Chinese restaurant and try some, you must try some!  I could easily put down 100 of them in one sitting, it's a good thing I only made 30 for dinner.  When we are together inshaAllah, you can help me stuff won tons.

I watched the "Horizon Forbidden West" movie again, this time I found a version that cut out most of the gameplay and all of the inventory digging, so it was only 7 hours long.  Ashley Burke plays the lead of Aloy, and after watching it again I have to say that she did a good job with the circumstance.  I don't think any actor, no matter how famous and experienced they are, seem totally comfortable in video games.  I do think that video game movies are a major part of modern movie making, and the revenue thereof.  I'm so taken with the beauty of the graphics in "Horizon Forbidden West", but there are some parts which totally do not fly.  The dream sequence for instance, looks like a cheap cartoon or bad render.  Nothing's perfect, I guess.  Nice story, though.

Peanut sauce

Hi Honey!  Natty, what a macho face!  How are you?  I'm sure you must be having some exciting times wherever you are.  Please be safe, and guard your health.  What's for dinner?  Are you having sushi?  I and the rest of the world would love to see what you eat to keep your girlish figure.  How about a truffle smoothie?  Might as well try it if you had the money.  I had some leftover peanut sauce that my mother made sitting in the freezer, from the Eid.  I thought I would heat it up and add chunks of roast beef to go with white rice and stir fry veggies.  It worked like a charm!  People usually eat the stuff with pressed rice cubes or the like, but plain white rice works just as well and without the labor.  My Mom makes delicious peanut sauce.  That's a pretty good recipe above too, I don't need to taste it to know that it's good.  I like that stainless steel wok.  Always try to get cookware that have the handles molded in, otherwise riveted in would be second best.  Avoid screw-in handles.

Well you have my heart, Natty.  And my promise of marriage.  I intend to keep my promise inshaAllah, so please trust me and be patient with me.  How are you today, by the way?  Have you been dressing up all girlie?  I would love to see that.  Marilyn Monroe said that beauty is femininity.  Mary tells me that femininity is attitude.  I wouldn't know.  There was a version of Cilla singing this song on YouTube (not this one, the one I'm referring to has gone private) that I believe she sent me right before she passed away.  I don't know why I caught her attention. 

Anyway, I bought some boneless chicken breast today.  The price has doubled in about a year.  I portioned it all out into nugget size.  I find that pan-frying chicken isn't very good unless you can blacken it somehow, like with honey.  Or add a lot of sauce.  Chicken needs to be battered or breaded if you wanted to fry it.  So I breaded the chicken, pan fried it, and enjoyed it with my bitter bean hot sauce.  The cats prefer their chicken raw.  Don't worry folks, the chicken is fresh.  I have experience enough to smell when chicken is getting bad.  What was that they taught me at food service class?  "If in doubt, throw it out."  I prefer processed chicken though.  Freshly slaughtered chicken smells beastly.

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  Are you having tons of fun and keeping safe?  I hope so.  I love you so much!  It's a nice cool day over here.  I could have slept through it, but I didn't.  I had much to do.  Laundry in the morning, and today is Friday thus the Friday prayer.  I wanted to go out in the evening to get groceries, but the weather could have gone either way: rain or no rain.  So I decided to stay home and eat what I got.  After some thought, I chose to make fried rice vermicelli.  I could use the leftover broth from the ramen I had for lunch, then add some Mae Pranom (Siamese spicy tamarind paste typically used for tom yum) and my home made chilli-lemongrass sauce.  Then some roast beef chunks and stir fry veggies.  Now a pack of raw rice vermicelli usually has 4 bricks in it.  I just soak the whole brick without breaking it up like she does in the video, for about 10 minutes then separate the noodles after straining them.  That way the noodles are firm when you add them to heat and more moisture.  So I asked Lookie, "Should I use one or two?"  She pointed her nose at the 2 fingers, so 2 bricks of noodles it is.  I ended up with a lot of food, and the flavor was OK, maybe mediocre.  Well not bad, nothing a bit of soy sauce couldn't fix.  I think it was too many noodles for the broth.  That's what I get for asking the cat for her opinion.  She doesn't even eat rice vermicelli.
