Hi Natty!  How's life over there in La La Land?  Is it bikini weather?  I would join you Honey, but I don't look good in a bikini.  Let's watch a movie together!  Tonight is movie night!  "La La Land" (2016).  Yes, I know you love this movie, Honey!  I think it's nice movie, and bittersweet.  Musicals usually make me cringe, but this one not so much.  I love that scene at the end where he gets a glimpse of their lives together had he not spurned her at that critical moment.  But don't you think that Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds look the same?

Something in the air

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  I hope everything is going smoothly for you over there, and you are feeling good.  I didn't get much sleep last night.  I don't know why, something in the air maybe.  So at 2 am I did a little extra worship then went to the kitchen and made a fresh batch of my snack mix, while watching "The Devil Wears Prada".  I love that movie!  I love lentil fritters too, they're so addictive.  Perfect snack for me: it's not sweet, and I nibble it.

I spent most of the day doing some running around for my parents.  It's a cold and wet day, but it wasn't like that in the morning.  Even though I slept in, I was grumpy from the insomnia of last night, and made grumpier by the traffic.  My focus was off, too.  While I was taking out the kitty litter in the evening, I let Adolf Kitler slip out and chase down my brother's black cat.  The black cat is the new boss cat of the street, and I didn't see him when I opened the door, but really it was my own carelessness for trusting Adolf to stay where he was.  So I had to chase them down while wearing only a towel, put on some gloves and break up a cat fight.  Adolf was winning too, so the other cat ran away and he followed it.  Adolf has rarely been outside, so I managed to catch him before he got his head stuck in a chain link fence.  Dumb ass cat.  I grabbed him by the scruff and tail, carried him like that all the 100 yards back into the house while he was panting and snarling, and locked him up in the kitty litter room.  He calmed down half an hour later.

Hi Natty!  You are looking sharp as usual, my darling.  How are you feeling?  I hope you are feeling great, and having a splendid time.  I was about to make pasta for dinner, but instead I had some prawn fritters in peanut gravy.  Something they sell at the crossroads, that my mother bought and didn't want anymore.  It was OK.  No need to cook dinner now.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine makes no military sense.  What's left then is ego.  I'm sure most of the world realizes that now, but how did ego get inflamed?  Let's try to guess WHEN ego got inflamed.  When Kamila Valieva was found guilty of illegal drugs in her system, the whole Russian team became unraveled.  Even though they won the women's free skate gold, it was a humiliating win.  A few days later, Russia entered Ukraine.  It looks to me like Putin was the one who ordered the doping of the Russian champion.  So when Russia became humiliated, his ego became humiliated.  So he compensated by flexing some muscle at the expense of Ukraine.  Now don't tell me that people don't persist at wars because of ego...  Anyway, the annexation/liberation of Ukraine will be messy.  What's tidier is that the people of Russia take care of their own leader, such as they had done many times before.  After all, only a Russian peasant would be able to find a hidden bunker in Siberia.
