Hobbit house

 

You like Hobbit houses, huh?  Those round and spherical forms don't remind me of Bond, but more of Frodo or Bilbo.  Bilbo Bond!  I think Bond preferred lush penthouses and presidential suites.  Since you like those shapes, I guess with money inshaAllah, nothing is out of the question.  I kind of wanted a roof porch, someplace to hang out above the streets on cool days and BBQ.  A place to put a backup water reservoir.  You can't really do that with a spherical house.  Do you think all the rooms of that house are spherical or round?  If so, then the house must be set up like hotel chalets.  Where would you put all of your books?  Looking out the window, you can see it's on a hill.  Ah, the proverbial "house on a hill".  I would love to live in the mountains, but I've already set up shop here Honey.  Look at all the plants and trees nearby that house.  I can tell that those are landscaped.  So how's your garden coming along?  I'm going to nag you about your garden, Natty.  Even if we get minions to tend the yard, they still need to be supervised.  What if they got an eyeful of how pretty you are?  And after even that, there's still a lot you have to do yourself.

This dress doesn't fit!  I had to shoot pictures upwards, "up the nose" if you will, to not show the nip slips.

Weakness

 Hi Natty!  How are you today, Surf Princess?  Please be careful out there, safe is boring but I need you.  I need you to keep safe.  I hope you are enjoying yourself, and keeping healthy.  I had to take Lily to the vet this morning.  She was feeling weak: she had trouble getting up, slow in general, and landing jumps by falling splat on her face.  Lily has never been to the vet, and it's a long scary journey.  When we got there, I told the vet that she was weak and tired.  Then I took Lily out of the pet carrier, and she was bouncing off the walls trying to escape the doctor.  He said, "She doesn't look weak to me".  But he determined that she had a fever, and gave her a couple of shots.  By dinnertime, Lily seemed more like herself again.  Weakness is the ultimate non-specific symptom to just about every disease out there, yet it can't be ignored.  But what about weakness in personality and willpower?  Yet more about human imperfections.  I'm not that strong, I have no power if not for the Power of Allah.

Flowers

 

Hi Natty!  Oh, what a pretty yard!  There's a lot of love and work put in that garden.  You can tell that the hands who nurtured that garden are talented and experienced.  It's a science!  Look at the Dutch garden above.  I can't get as precise as that.  I do what I can with what I have.  Is that your buddy?  Is she the gardener?  Yes you are a Princess my love, but to have others do your gardening is cheating don't you think?  Cute video, though.

Oh I'm tired, Honey.  It's about an hour to sunset, and it's been a busy day as Sundays usually are.  I have my dinner ready, next I'm going to put away the batch of cat food I made, lock up, take a shower and wait for them to call the prayer.  I have sugar cane water to break fast with today!  I think you would like this stuff, Natty.  Anyway, gotta go.  I love you!

Eek!  Natty, you're naked!  Again!  **reaches for a banana leaf**  **jumps in front of the camera waving my arms to block the shot**  You are just too darned pretty!  But how is your garden coming along, Nature Girl?  You have to love and nurture those plants!  Don't just talk the talk, walk the walk!  Honey when I have the money to buy you a ring inshaAllah, then I will email you.  Until then, I hope you don't mind if I continue to talk to you here every day in this blog.  But if you need to talk to me in private, then you can do that whenever you want.  Just please keep it between us.  I'm offline a lot of the time, so it usually takes time for me to respond.  Thank you for your love.

I don't know what I want for dinner!  A whole barbecue lamb looks good, but I don't want to spend money!  I'm poor!

I think I'll have the same thing I had this morning: a cheeseburger and a breaded chicken sandwich.  Plus, I have some mangoes.  You want some?
