Tuesday

 

Hi Natty!  How's your day coming along?  I hope all is well with you, and you are feeling good.  It's Tuesday over here for me.  I spent the morning doing housekeeping.  I tried out those dust bags on my obsolete vacuum cleaner.  I had to rig it to fit, but it did work.  Slightly.  I need a new vacuum cleaner.  Or maybe I should just get aggressive with the broom?  I don't know.  I hate housecleaning.  I'll do what I'm forced to, but that's it.  I also had to clean the reservoir in my bathroom.  The tap water here is not for drinking.  I don't recommend that people wash their crotches with it either.  It's full of fungus.  Use toilet paper, people!  It's not just here though.  I think tap water everywhere is full of fungus, but the people who use toilet paper don't notice.  At first I wanted to cut grass in the evening, but I went to the pet shop instead.  I also bought some toilet paper on my way back, and ate out for dinner.  "Laksa".  It's noodles in soup, but fishy soup.  Eating less is good for you, but don't overdo it.  Anyway, gotta shower.  I love you!

Dust bags

 

Hi Natty!  Happy International Woman's Day!  How are you feeling today?  I hope you are able to avoid using other people's bathrooms.  It takes some getting used to, and some planning.  Yeah it sucks, life in the Public Eye sucks.  But what really sucks is life on this earth when compared to heaven.  But we have to be grateful with what Allah gives us.

It got busy for me this evening.  I had to go to the night market, but I also had to go to the big supermarket on the other side of downtown to get some dust bags for my obsolete vacuum cleaner.  I knew I saw some from the corner of my eye the last time I was there and sure enough, I found some.  Not the same brand, not the same fit, the hole is smaller, and it cost me 20 bucks.  I saw some vacuum cleaners with dust bags on sale there.  I took a dust bag out of one of them and showed to the clerk and I asked, "Do you sell these?"  He said, "No."  I said, "So you sell the vacuum cleaners but not the dust bags?"  I didn't wait for a reply.  It looks like they do sell dust bags online, but I need it now.  And that's another advantage brick and mortar stores have over online shopping.  Then I had to go to the night market and buy fish, "satay", and my dinner.

Sunday

 Hi Natty!  How's it going today?  Is everything all right with you?  I pray so.  It's Sunday over here for me, and Sundays are busy all day as usual  I always clean my mother's bedroom in the morning every Sunday, and in the evening I finally got the chance to cut the grass.  Even during the dry season, the grass grows long around here.  The difference is is that the growth is uneven, with patches of grass among the sand and pebbles.  With the weed whacker spitting rocks everywhere, I got nicked in the face quite good today.  Good thing I wore goggles.  Nothing special on the menu, no time nor energy for gourmet cooking.  Takeout rice for lunch, and scrambled egg sandwiches for dinner.  I don't seem to care that much about the menu today.  What concerns me, is why the poor people are obese nowadays?  Has it always been that way, or is it a sign of the times?

Just another average day

 Hi Natty!  How are you today?  I hope you are doing well, and keeping safe.  I'm doing all right.  It's just another Saturday over here.  I spent the morning vacuum cleaning my house.  I have one of those old vacuum cleaners with a dust bag in it.  You know what I mean?  I figure you would only know bagless vacuum cleaners.  It's not even the right fit dust bag, I had to rig it to fit in there.  Plus, it's old and held together with paper clips.  I have to empty it out every time it gets full by sticking my fingers in there and pulling out all the crap.  Yes... gross huh!  I was going to take a snapshot of how pathetic my dust bag is, but no.  I just need a new vacuum cleaner.  Dust is nasty.  My house attracts great amounts of dust, just like Mary Unknown7 attracts ghosts.  The dust is alive too, with living creatures that bite in it.  Anyway, I had ramen for lunch again.  I love ramen!  I don't think you would love ramen as much as I do, so when we lunch together inshaAllah, I'll make a big bowl for me, a small bowl for you, and plenty of fruits for you.  For dinner, I had stuffed won tons again.  Those are so good!  Oh no, I ate too much hot sauce!  Anyway, next up is wardrobe.  I love you!

Hot sauce

 

Hi Natty!  How are you feeling, my love?  I hope you are feeling healthy and centered.  There's not much going on here, just the usual.  I made fried won tons for lunch.  The won tons didn't blister as I had hoped, even though the oil was very hot.  I think I got a poor batch of won ton skins.  I ate them with my home made hot sauce.  I gave some to my Mom, and she was interested in my hot sauce.  Coming from my mother who happens to be the world's most competitive cook, that was flattery.  I like this recipe of hot sauce.  It's a soybean base, and from there I think I'll try making many varieties.  I suppose I could bottle the stuff and make a fortune, but I can't be bothered.  Music is very time and energy consuming.  If you have time to make music and run a food service at the same time, then you're not doing either one with any quality.

Processed yet pure

 Oh Natty, I love that freshly showered face.  It's so sexy.  And I can't even see your body.  When I get done with you, you're going to need another shower.  And another.  And another.  And another.  Let's just sleep in the shower.  It looks like when I marry you inshaAllah, I'm going to turn into a drug addict.  Sex, Viagra, and Rock and Roll.

I've been chowing down on fresh tofu and fish balls all day.  Lunch, dinner, and in between, all I ate today was fresh tofu and fish balls.  That tofu looks great, right?  It's super high quality.  It doesn't need salt or cooking or anything, it just needs to be fresh.  I was at the market this morning, and I got 5 blocks of tofu and a kilo of fish balls.  The fish balls are fresh, too.  You can keep them in the freezer and they will be OK to use, but not the same as fresh.  Now you don't eat the tofu and fish balls together.  Have a spoon of tofu, swallow it down, then put a fish ball in your mouth.  Munch and swallow that down, then tofu, then fish ball, and so on.  I wash it down with my unsweetened rose pekoe iced tea with aloe vera chunks.  I think you would love this food as much as I do, Natty.  It's as pristine as those berries of yours.  Processed yet pure.

The sky is growling

 Hi Natty!  How are you feeling today, my love?  I hope I didn't shake your soul too much, I was just telling you stuff you already know.  I guess February was a more intense month for you than I noticed, I'm sorry I'm not there with you.  I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart.  One thing about spiritual awareness is that the world is still the same after.  We are still here.  It's an interesting evening over here for me.  It's almost sunset, and I was outside in the yard staring at the horizon.  There doesn't seem to be any colors of moisture, but the entire north sky is growling.  Oh wait, now I can smell rain.  It's raining.  Slightly.  It hasn't rained in 2 months, it is the dry season after all.  Perhaps I can look forward to a nice, cool night tonight.
