Sunday

Hi Honey!  How's it going with you today?  Feeling active?  Yeah, my cats were nosier and curiouser and more aggressive than usual.  I had to put up with that, but I overslept.  It was very humid last night, which was uncomfortable of course, but the rain fell after the dawn prayer which cooled things down and made me oversleep.  Sunday is full of chores as usual.  The menu isn't that great today: no ingredients, no imagination.  Lunch was white rice with fresh tomatoes and salted fish, dinner was fried noodles, greasier than usual.  I still have to make dough tonight, and practice guitar.  The day is crammed today.

I know Sunday is supposed to be pink, but I couldn't tell if my dress was pink.  It looked red to me, even though it was labeled "dirty pink".  So I put on red shoes, then I could tell that the dress was pink.

119.  Ah!  You are those who love them but they love you not, though you believe in the whole of the Book, when they meet you, they say, "We believe," but when they are alone, they bite the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage.  Say, "Perish in your rage: Allah knows well all the secrets of the heart."

I saw the news

Honey, are you OK?  Did any of those slimy creeps touch you?  They better not have, because you are MY girl.  They better not even look at you wrong.  Do you want me to send a bunch of thugs to their houses, and have them beheaded?  Castrated?  Cannibalized?

I'm joking, of course.  Maybe.  But seriously folks, I have no power to do anything of that sort.  In the video I posted yesterday, you may have noticed that most/all of the people doing the killings were high on drugs, heroin being the drug of choice.  Heroin is an expensive drug.  The journalist mentioned that, being that the Liberians are destitute.  The warlord said that the drugs came from the Nigerians.  But the Nigerians aren't that wealthy to afford heroin, so someone gave the heroin to the Nigerians who gave them to the Liberians.  Money trails are very dangerous to follow, because the bad guys have armed guards watching over them, so it's practically impossible to follow a money trail undetected.  You have to have a powerful group backing you up (government/military) in order to efficiently follow a money trail, and pray that whatever you find on that trail isn't financing the group that's backing you up.  How do I know this?  I pray and study the Qur'an.  God guides whom God wills.

Honey, you are obviously not normal folk anymore.  You're so young though... but by now you would have created an inner circle of family and friends.  So don't be easy to trust anyone outside of that inner circle, they will not fail to corrupt you.  You do want to stay pure, right?  Today the computer wants you to watch a movie.  "The Hunger Games" (2012).  Oh you know that movie?  Don't you have some sort of blood tie to that movie?  Yes my love, God knows our destiny before we realize it ourselves.

Hi Honey.  Congratulations on your wise endorsement.  It truly seems like a worthy cause, but I guess you would have to be active in it to really know.  What I want for you is to give you a happy and protected life inshaAllah, so please allow me to take care of you.  This is because you are beautiful and precious to me, and I love you.  With some people, our work is never finished, and there's always more work to be done.  Doctors, activists, journalists, artists... the tasks never seem to end.

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling today, my beloved?  I pray that you are feeling and doing great.  Yes, that is a beautiful scarf.  Your outfit looks nice and warm, and expensive.  It's been raining here.  I did manage to sneak out after the rain to the supermarket, and bought a chicken.  Yeah, whole chickens are cheap at the supermarket.  I don't know what to do with the feet though, but the locals seem to enjoy them.  I hope I have enough BBQ sauce left for grilled chicken.  That's what I usually do with the thighs and wings.  Then I separate the white meat, and use the rest for broth and fried noodles.  The liver should go well with the beans.  And a nice Chianti!  Sluuurrrppp....

Oh forget the Chianti.  I don't drink.  I've been spending a lot of time on YouTube, mostly watching X Factor, Got Talent, and Ellen.  I have to admit I'm hooked on bad and angry auditions.  More, more!  But I need to save on data consumption right now, so I'm going to have to back off a little on the trash TV.  Also I'm going to have to use simple backdrops at the regular place instead of lavish photo shoots.

Illusions

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling?  Still have the cold?  Well, it's winter after all.  Cold medicines are much more effective when taken in the early stage of the cold.  As opposed to waiting until it becomes bothersome, then you would have to take ten times the amount of drugs.  At least.  So next time you feel that tickling or discomfort in your nose or the roof of your mouth, quickly take an antihistamine.  There was an interruption during voice training today that was bothersome.  About an hour into the set, the voice feed cut out.  So I logged back in over and over again, but still the voice button was grayed out.  Finally I sent a message to the landowner, not that I expected her to do anything at 3 in the morning, but just in case it was a hacker.  After I sent the message, I relogged for a last time and behold, the voice feed was back!  It sure seems that my sending the message created a solution.  Illusions!  It feels like I'm in Hollywood.  A movie.  Serpico.

I did a lot of labor in the evening, that definitely wasn't an illusion.  The weather was hot, so I was grumpy.  I had to cut the grass, it had gotten so thick.  Plus other things I had to do.  Anyway, I hope you get better quickly.  Keep warm, and get plenty of rest.  I love you.

95.  Say, "Allah speaks the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith: he was not of the pagans."

96.  The first House appointed for humans was that at Bakkah, full of blessing and guidance for all kinds of beings.

97.  In it are signs manifest.  The Station of Abraham: whoever enters it attains security.  Pilgrimage thereto is a duty humans owe to Allah, those who can afford the journey.  But if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of God's creatures.

98.  Say, "O people of the Book!  Why reject you the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Witness to all you do?"

99.  Say, "O people of the Book!  Why obstruct you those who believe from the path of Allah, seeking to make it crooked, while you were yourselves witnesses?  But Allah is not unmindful of what you do."
