I need to remind you my darling, not to trust anyone with the legalities of our marriage with anyone except me. You may approach or be approached by people to process our marriage procedure, including the paperwork as such. But I am your husband inshaAllah. I'm the one who should be filling in the forms, I am the one who should be paying the fees, I am the one who will be financing your house and married life inshaAllah. It doesn't matter who it is that offers to expedite our marriage, or their connection with me. Don't trust them. Don't forget how global our marriage is! Trust in Allah instead, and pray that Allah quickens our marriage in the most positive way. I love your curls, by the way. Do you like the weather?
Natty, don't be too shocked about being treated like a chess piece by your bosses. This is big business, and my wife is big business. Right now you need to work, and as long as you keep your chastity and faith in God, and are safe and happy, then everything else can pretty much be ignored. Eat good foods that are comfortable for your tummy, and drink lots of water. Don't forget to pray.
Hey Pina. Isn't this better than NYC? Isn't it?

Another busy morning
Wow... Ramadan is slammed for me. How are you, Sweetheart? Are you enjoying your vacation? Those rocks don't look very comfortable for walking around barefoot, but I'm sure you are enjoying the tropical weather. Beware of mosquitoes! I got up at 1:30 am this morning. It can't be helped, I find myself cooking and working at the same time. I had spaghetti today, then went back to sleep after the dawn prayer. I'm forced to sleep in nowadays, otherwise I would get no sleep at all, so I woke up again at 8:30 am. Cleaned up after the cats, watered the plants, took a shower, then went downtown to pick up my Dad's prescription and get a replacement glass for my parents' window. The hospital pharmacy was packed like sardines, so I gave the slip to them and will be back later to pick up the drugs. After this I'll take a nap, before voice training.
Natty, are you sailing? Isn't life like sailing, isn't life like a dream? You beautiful girl.
It's good to see you working again, Pina. Doesn't it make a huge difference to be in Europe and being treated well? Doesn't it feel so much more relaxed, so much more secure?

Roam
Wait... I'm mistaken. El Salvador is Gangster Central, not Nicaragua. I don't suppose there's anything to visit in El Salvador. Me, I have to be like a tree, stay put, grow strong powerful roots to bear fruit for my loved ones. Certainly travel is for the young.
In and out of the Middle East as quickly as possible, huh Natty? That's a good idea actually. I don't particularly like the thought of your being dangled like a carrot. How's the tummy?

Busy morning
Nicaragua? Isn't that like Gangster Central? Please be careful Sweetie, and take care of yourself. Beware of mosquitoes! I've had a busy morning, so I can't say too much because I need to take a nap before voice training. I had to clean my mother's bedroom as usual, and I stayed up most of the night as usual. It is Ramadan after all. I love you.
Natty, you look like Indiana Jones! Yes, Petra is very famous. I take it you are still not quite used to the options you have in local cuisine. But I'm sure there is a McDonald's or KFC or Pizza Hut there. Don't mess around with your tummy, OK?

Office hours
Hi Honey! How was your day at the office? You have a nice BIG office too. Full of wide open spaces. So there's plenty of room for your keyboard. I hope you are enjoying the changes that you are going through. There are always a lot of changes going on during Ramadan, particularly for the Islamic faithful. I can't really say much about the changes I'm going through in this public place, but I'm happy that I haven't had a cold in months! Alhamdulillah! And my nose is VERY sensitive- it's because I sing through my nose. Anyway, I actually prefer to stay and work indoors, and Ramadan has forced me to do that more, and I love it. Alhamdulillah! My current office hours are 2 to 6 am, 10 to 1 pm (including a nap), and maybe 9 or 10 pm to midnight or less, depending on how lazy I am. Otherwise I'm sleeping or out in the yard, and I can't stay out in the sun.
Natty, you have a nice big office too! I suppose if you are in a crowd it's OK to explore somewhat, just don't do it alone. Remember, there are always bigger crowds out there. If you were to put your hair into a hat, wear a long sleeve T shirt, long pants with socks and shoes, you would adhere to Islamic dress code AND keep your Western identity. How's your sensitive tummy? Grains and bread are always a safe bet, but don't forget to bring your own toilet paper! What are vikings doing in the Middle East? That reminds me, I need to take a snapshot for you...

Hi Honey
It's hot hot HOT here. Thank God for air conditioning! Alhamdulillah! These Ramadan hours have me indoors most of the time: up most of the night, sleeping in, and keeping indoors when that sun starts a blazing. How are you feeling today? I'm guessing that's the Utah desert, because I don't see any saguaros and those rocks look familiar. Oh you have bags under your eyes! My poor dear... Please get sufficient rest and take sweet loving care of yourself OK?
Natty, I get the feeling once you go to the Middle East, you're going to be invited back there repeatedly. It's the way you look: you're certainly going to attract the attention of some wealthy sheiks. And the poor ones too. Try to stay indoors if you're not working OK? Don't explore. I am well known in the Middle East, mashaAllah. People will know that you are my girl.

Public Service Announcement
You have such beautiful skin, with your freckles and all. I hope you take great care in not letting any nasty bugs bite you, so please take loving care of your body. Mosquitoes are probably the most dangerous living creatures on the planet, and they are everywhere. I'm sure you have heard of dengue fever. The Ministry of Health here goes crazy over dengue. Yesterday evening, a truck drove to and fro on the main street blasting through loudspeakers that they were about to do a spraydown because a case of dengue was diagnosed in the area. They instructed people to shut the windows and open the doors then stay outside while they spray. And it was a huge cloud of bug spray, too. But they didn't come my way.
I had to vacate my little house as well. I had to take my precious cats outside, then wait for them to come and spray (even though they didn't). Luca and Doutzen had never been outside in their entire lives, so the ordeal was a great shock to them. I kept them in a cage made out a shopping cart, while mama cat Floofy stayed in her basket. Floofy and Luca kept their cool, but Doutzen is currently in heat, so she began to freak out and beat up her sister. No she didn't hurt her thank God, but this made me decide that I will have to implement emergency drills with you all inshaAllah. Life isn't supposed to be easy, so there will always be some sort of emergency.
Natty, while you visit the Middle East, I need you to remember this important thing: the Antichrist (in Arabic is known as the "Dajjal") has to appear first, before Jesus Christ (peace be on him) reappears.
Pina, you look so much better now that you are back home. Your family all look like Burgers. I will take it for granted that you will give up alcohol by the time we marry inshaAllah. Right now, I can't even afford one wife let alone three.
