Hello, my Darling

How are you today my beautiful Erin?  It's raining heavily right now, and the wind is howling.  I was about to do some yard work, but God gave me an excuse to be lazy.  Alhamdulillah.  I can't do anything outside while it's pouring like this.  There's nothing special on the menu either, just hummus and eggs for dinner.  I could cook up something fancier, but one thing you must know about kitchen economics Erin, is that food in the cooler must be rotated.  Leftovers and older food must be used up.  Sorry kids, nothing exciting today for dinner.  The Lord does not love those who waste.

How are you Natty?  Are those emotions calming down?  One would think that emotional swings come in cycles, but I don't know about that.  They come when they come.  I used to wish I had no emotions when I was younger, but I can't sing without them.  In fact, I sing best when I'm emotionally thrashed.  But I believe that it's more important to control one's emotions.  Patience.  If you don't feel absolutely great, then patience is the next best emotion.

Soup

Won tons and tofu in soup.  It wasn't enough food for me because I have a man-sized appetite, so after I ate all the won tons and tofu, I put it back on the fire and added noodles and an egg,  Good, though.  Alhamdulillah.  Want some?

Hey Erin my love, it's sweet of you to show me your palm.  The right palm is more important than the left palm in terms of spirituality.  I'm not going to show you my palms here in this public place.  When we are together inshaAllah, I will show you my palms.

The photo of that bear is very creepy.  I think you meant it in humor, but with its one eye open and looking at the camera, it seems about to do something.  Is that a smile on its face?

Aw Natty sweetie, everything will be OK inshaAllah.  You are so beautiful.  I would love to take long walks with you, it sounds very romantic.  When I was younger, I would always take long hikes especially when the weather was colder (I loathe hot weather).  I would walk to work often in blizzards.  My recording studio was up in the hills, and I would hike up there, writing music to the rhythm of my march, taking the back alleys, and reading while I walked.  The dogs would come after me.  Of course we wouldn't have to do that here because it never snows and my feet have grown bigger from working in a restaurant, but I would love to take long walks with you.  I like to wear boots.  In this country, I like to wear waterproof rubber boots.

Hello there, my important girl

My beautiful Erin.  You are important to me, and I love you.  Reflecting on the election season, there were many of us who dread president Trump, and did not want that.  But really, whoever becomes the 45th president of the US will be a bad president, it doesn't matter who it is.  It's just bad luck, and bad luck with money.  I don't believe in luck myself, I just observe a big bear hanging over US government finances.  Now that I think about it, the FBI investigation on Clinton one week before Election Day was clearly illegal and influenced the results.  She didn't put up much of a fight either.  Whatever it is, whoever becomes the 45th president is getting a bad hand.  So it might as well be Trump.  The people will need a scapegoat.

Aw Natty, you poor precious little Sweetheart.  Darling Nat, things will be OK, inshaAllah.  You are just shooting upwards, that's all it is, and it gets lonely at the top.  But you are not alone.  You are never alone.  You have people who love you and think about you all the time.

I bought some clams yesterday, so today's noodles in soup is noodles in clam broth.  Clam broth is perfect broth, it doesn't need salt or anything to season.  Rather, I had to add water to dilute it.  A most delicious and luxurious lunch, made of ramen noodles.

Are you feeling OK today, my love?  It's been hectic for you lately, and it's nice to back off a little and slow down.  Slow down, and hang on to yourself.

Natty, right now you have to work.  And you love it, don't you?  You're not weird at all honey, rather you are normal.  There's nothing wrong with being normal.  Some people have to struggle to be normal.  You are a shy girl, that's why you don't like to cut loose in public, which is what you have to do as an actress.  So you need someone to go crazy with you.  But you can do it Natty, you can be a great actress AND not lose yourself at the same time.  Please pray.

Dinner tonight was a chicken and avocado pizza.  Tasted very normal, like you expect chicken and avocado to taste like.  Delicious.  Alhamdulillah.
