Letter to Julia 20120503

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

Oh my dearest Julia, please do not be upset with me.  It is my work to hang out at nightclubs, and I must have a beautiful avatar, since I have given the knowledge to do so, and that Allah made her beautiful.  I'm not in competition with you, after all, she's only an avatar, and you are real.  You are so beautiful, and I love you so much.  I have repeatedly asked you to join me in SL, because we can be a couple and complement each other.  I respect your reasons for keeping your distance, but since I am left alone, then I must continue my work, and try to get to where I can afford to give you a good life.  And since I am a chick singer, then I must hang out at nightclubs.

Please maintain your prayers, and please be patient with whatever tries you.  Please try not to boast or be too proud of what you have and what you have accomplished, please try to be moderate.  Please try to speak softly in a lower tone.  Whoever holds onto the faith to Allah has truly held on to handle that will not break, and forever secure.

Letter to Julia 20120502

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

As you know, the key to making great fried noodles, and fried rice for that matter, is in the fond.  That's the sauce you make to coat the noodles, prior to adding in the noodles, cooked meat and veggies.  But I find that peeling and chopping vegetables to make a sauce too tedious and time-consuming, especially considering the fact that I don't have a food processor or blender.  So lately, I discovered a quick and easy fond, that is to use leftover curry!  It works great, and I don't have to slave over too much prep.  Hmm.  According to this theory, any sort of leftover soupy saucy foods would make a great sauce for coating noodles.  Just make sure you cook it to death before you add in the noodles.  I wonder how applesauce or baby food would work?  Hmm.  Don't ever try this trick with fried rice, though.  Fried rice is very sensitive, and takes great skill to rise above the many bad versions of fried rice out there.  Ya Allah, thank you for the knowledge and the bounty you have bestowed upon me.

Letter to Julia 20120501

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

YOOOOOOLIIIIEEEE!!!!!

My, you ARE a beauty, Julia.  What a ravishing delight you are, my love, all the more longing I have to embrace and kiss you for hours.  Do you like my SL outfits?  I don't dress as sophisticated and high-class as you.  I like to shoot for a sort of edgy average look in my SL wardrobe, while maintaining a totally girly aura.  That, and I can't afford to spend money on virtual clothing.  It's impossible for me, or any girl for that matter, to wear mini skirts all the time in real life, but in SL I wear nothing but minis.  I love mini skirts.  It's my Sailor Moon influence, I suppose.  Well, sometimes I like to dress completely outrageous, and other times I like to goth out.  It depends on my mood, and which nightclub I have to go to.  Work, work, work.  No Muslim woman should ever dress the way I do in SL, but hey, it's not reality, so I must as well have fun with clothes.

I don't really say much of anything to anone in SL.  But be sure that there are people on the Internet and off who say things justs for the sake of saying it and throwing ridicule, and trying to mislead people from the Path of God.  When such people hear the Signs of God being rehearsed they turn away and pretend they didn't hear it.  For such people, Allah promises a very heavy penalty.

Letter to Julia 20120430

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

It is no wonder who in the world is listening.  To this music, and to the call to God.  For me, I only hope that they will be guided to Allah, and that Allah will reward me, for Allah is the Best to give reward.  But we can't change people who are stuck in their ways.  We can't force the blind to see, nor can we force the deaf to hear.  The only people who will listen are the ones who already believe in the Signs of God, and submit.  But that's OK, don't you agree?  We don't really care about people who don't really care, right?  So please patiently persevere, and don't let them shake your firmness, those who have no certainty of faith.

Anyway, it's mango season!  You want one, my love?  I love you!  Have a mango!  It's ripe, and sweet!  Just like you!  Alhamdulillah, things are growing like mad right now.  Mangos, bananas, cashews, chilli peppers, okra, pumpkin...  Now how about a budding musical tourist attraction?  InsyaAllah!

Letter to Julia 20120427

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

So please make sure you maintain your prayers, and that you maintain your purity and sincerity.  Men impure are for women impure, and women impure are for men impure, while pure men are for pure women, and pure women are for pure men.  This is not affected by what people say.  Life is a struggle, and there is so much corruption, and that is the reality.  So we must not lose our awareness of this reality by succumbing to corruption: we must maintain our purity.  The Promise of Allah is true: Allah will reward the righteous.  And my love and sincerity for you is also true, insyaAllah.  You are the girl I want to marry, and we will be together soon, insyaAllah.

Qur'an 20120427

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

41.  Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of that the hands of humans have earned.  That may give them a taste of some of their deeds, in order that they may turn back.

42.  Say, "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before, most of them worshipped others besides God."

The Romans 30:41-42
----------------------------------------------------------

Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before, most of them worshiped others besides God.

Letter to Julia 20120426

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

I swear my house is being taken over by the cats lately.  First of all, my kitty is Chee Cheh.  She's an adorable little kitty who loves a good conversation, especially over breakfast and dinner.  I took her to the vet yesterday.  The poor thing seems to have a chronic fungal problem.  She's so sensitive to moisture, she gets an outbreak whenever it rains a lot, and it has been raining a lot lately, including yesterday.  She's blessed that cats in Malaysia get subsidized veterinary care from the Department of Animal Control, so I only had to pay for her medicine.  The vet showed me how to put a big pill in her mouth to swallow, by holding her neck with the pinkie and ring fingers, and holding her muzzle with the rest of the fingers on the left hand, then opening her mouth with the middle finger of the right hand while the right thumb and forefinger hold the pill.  Well, the vet made it look easy, but I couldn't get the cat to stop squirming.  She said I was being too rough.  Who?  Little ol' me?

As I told you once a while ago, my house used to be inhabited by a gang of cats.  They belong to my brother, and my parents feed them, so they usually hang out next door.  Lately, they've been congregating on my porch, and setting up guard at my front door.  4 cats.  Then there's this other cat with brown striping and a stubby tail that loves to yowl, "Oh oh oh oh oooohhhh" outside my window.  I think he belongs to a girl down the street who probably planted him here.  Then there's this white wildcat, an independent fellow who has lost the shine in his left eye, and he just loves to harass the gang of cats.  Well, somebody tagged my right sandal: when I went out to take Chee Cheh to the vet this morning, I stepped into a sandal drenched in cat pee.  Hey, I'm not being fought over as prime cat property!  I finally got rid of all those fighting chickens outside my bedroom window, now the cats are battling there.

Now, you have probably noticed how Islam today comprises of many different sects, just how Christianity today comprises of many different types of churches, and you are wondering who to trust thereof.  Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) predicted this long ago.  We are instructed not to join any partners in worship to Allah, and this is taken very seriously by Allah.  If you read 30:31-32 of the Qur'an, those who split up their religion into sects are considered to have joined partners with Allah.  Leave the sects alone.  That is our mutual right, let them go about their business, ignore what they say to you, and Allah will deal with them directly.  Trust only in the Qur'an and the teachings of prophet Muhammad (peace be on him), and leave out the gossip and the opinions.
