What's for dinner?

Hi Honey!  How are you today?  Will you be working this weekend?  Please get lots of rest and eat properly, and don't forget to pray.  I just did some burning, or old and dried up leaves and trees.  I have much more burning to do, since I did all that chainsawing yesterday.  I haven't started my dinner yet.  I did eat a lot this morning, so much that I was sluggish during voice training.  But I did buy some strong coffee (finally), and I always take my coffee mid-set, so I perked right up.  I think I'll make some curry pups after the sunset prayer, and some hot dog pups too.  It's going to be a hot night, and that's a lot of food, but I have a man-sized appetite, and I am physically active.  What are you having for dinner?

Hi Natty Honey!  What are you having for dinner?  Wow, it sure does look like paradise where you're at.  I like the beach, especially if it's clean and there's good fishing, but my desire of paradise is autumn and pine and maple trees and strawberries.  But that's just one side of it.  Here where I live, the closest thing to paradise is right after the rain stops, I think.  So much beauty, so much life.  You should take snapshots of  your food more, especially when you travel.  Share with us!

Hi Honey

How are you feeling today, my love?  I hope everything is going well for you, and you are having a great time.  It's been an active day for me.  The morning, though starting early, went kind of slow.  I went and bought breakfast for my parents, then watched a movie. Then I made my ramen lunch, before I had to go to the mosque for Friday prayer.  After voice training, I toiled in the yard all evening.  Wow!  I really cranked out those chores.  I used up a whole tank of gas in the chainsaw, cutting off a huge limb of a mango tree over at your house inshaAllah then breaking it down, then cutting down other oversized saplings in the yard.  It sure was sweaty, smelly, manly work.  I'm hungry!  I've had 3 meals today, and I'm still hungry.  That's what I get for eating out.

Oh Natty Honey, you are so pretty!  Wow, you beautiful, sensitive girl.  Wow, no nose hairs.  Incredible!  You enjoy your nap now, make sure you get lots of beauty sleep.  The movie I watched today was "Falling Down".  No, you don't have to watch it.  I do think it's a good movie, and I enjoyed it.

The food chase

Hi Honey!  How are you, my dearest?  How's work?  Oh I'm doing OK here, I just had dinner.  I made curry pups: quick and easy and tasty and filling.  I figured out how Floofy got constipated recently despite my efforts to make sure she ate properly.  It has something to do with the feeding ritual.  Floofy eats rice and canned cat food, so I put that together in a bowl then take it to my bedroom, serve it to her and shut the door.  The rest of the cats get solid cat food.  Luka has that restraining collar on, so she gets a separate bowl which I give her in the kitty litter room.  Doutzen and Chee Cheah share the same bowl, which I set down in the kitchen.  Then I go back to my bedroom and wait for Floofy to finish eating.  Then Luka appears at the door, wanting to come in.  But she didn't finish her food: she wants to taste her mother's food, so she comes to the bedroom.  Instead Doutzen goes and eats the rest of Luka's food, leaving Chee Cheah with too much food.  When Floofy is finished with her food, I let Luka in to lick the bowl while Floofy goes out.  Since Chee Cheah is elderly and is missing some teeth, there is still plenty of food left in her bowl, which Floofy eats up.  That is how she got constipated.

Hi Natty Honey!  Oh, are you mad at me?  Ah, you don't like people gossiping about you!  Especially when it's rancid back-stabbing kind of gossip.  Relax people, it's probably some other girl that had those tight jeans.  Don't worry Sweetie, I just cleaned your ear and the itching will soon go away.  Perhaps it's because people don't know who you are in NYC that you seek attention.  I thought I told you to move to Paris...  But you enjoy the gossip!  But you don't enjoy the gossip?  But you enjoy the gossip?  But you don't enjoy the gossip?  Don't seek fame Honey, it's not a blessing.  You are in a situation where fame will come naturally, so don't seek it.  Please stay away from boys.

It's rerun day on Shadowplay TV!  Dorothy Stratten got killed because she took pity on some creep then married him.  Dorothy and I share the same birthday.  If Pisces is the best woman and the worst man, what's going to happen to me?  I don't believe in astrology.  I put my faith in Allah.  Anyway, watch and learn!

Chicken and mushrooms

Hi Honey!  How are you today?  I hope you are feeling and doing great.  Are you hungry?  I found some excellent oyster mushrooms a couple of days ago at the night market.  They were sparkling white and so juicy, they were dripping with water.  I was shopping for stuff to put in my ramen soup, but for dinner today I made steamed rice with chicken and mushrooms.  I don't have a physical addiction to rice like many others around here like my Dad and Floofy, but I like it.  I usually have rice twice a week or so.  I still have the awesome BBQ sauce I made during Ramadan.  Yeah it's a month old, but it's just sauce and spices, no meats or perishables in there.  InshaAllah it's fine.  And I torched it to death in the saucepan in hot oil before putting the vegetables in.  I put the chicken breast in last and I always cook chicken breast gently, so it's nice and tender.  It's a really nice dinner.  Do you want some?
Hi Natty Honey!  You're welcome to my dinner, of course.  The purpose of our marriage is partly to share our food.  I hope you like rice.  Oh, but you got me started on tights and tight jeans.  I used to wear tight jeans when I was younger.  I don't know why, en vogue I guess.  I even had a pair of bike shorts back then, back in the day of MC Hammer (ugh).  I don't know why I wore that, because I hate rap.  I guess I was just a foolish slave of fashion.  One might figure that to wear such tight clothes over one's privates would accelerate bacterial activity and fermentation of sweat, but that's a non-issue if we regularly shower and do laundry.  Do I like tights and tight jeans?  It depends on the woman, I guess.  I wouldn't wear them personally.  What I really want is an air-conditioned pair of pants to keep it nice and cool and well-ventilated down there.  Has anyone invented that yet?

My girl

My girl has a tough job.  She has to have faith that I will afford to pay for our marriage, even though I'm poor right now.  Everyone knows she's beautiful, everyone wants her, everyone knows her because she's my girl.  That's why her bosses love her, because she's big money.  She brings in the big bucks, because she's my girl.  All this attention is not a blessing, but it is also a blessing.  Everything is a blessing in this crazy life, this is the spiritual road, the high road, and we work towards God and place our faith in God.  It's not as if I can go around apologizing to everyone, and they will leave us alone.  We can only remain steadfast and pray, and things will turn out fine inshaAllah.  I love you, Honey.  You are beautiful, and everybody knows it.  Alhamdulillah.

Hey Natty Honey!  Hm.  You do look like you are having fun, but it doesn't seem all that weird to me.  It seems so very normal...  Tights and tight jeans are a modern female phenomena.  I see them everywhere nowadays, on all types of women, outer or underwear.  Someone explained to me that it was like being held tight.  It's clearly an advantage of not having balls, that one can wear tights and tight jeans.  Anyway, the computer wants you to watch "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".  Yes Honey, take your buddies along and buy into the franchise, then wonder about the next installment in this much beloved series.  Will Rey have sex with Ren?

Express yourself

Hi Honey.  I hope you are feeling great, and work is easy for you.  It's been an intense year for you so far, and you've seen past the haze as to where in the world you stand.  Yeah big business is scary, but the alternate is scary too.  To be unnoticed, to be walked over.  So please express yourself, don't keep your feelings and perspective bottled up inside, especially if it can make the world a better place, because you definitely have the influence to do so.  You are beautiful, and you are a beautiful person, and I love you with all of my heart.  My cat Floofy got constipated again today.  I had determined that it was the solid cat food that did it to her, so I cut it out of her diet.  But rice and wet cat food gave her diarrhea, so I added a little crushed solid cat food to the mix to temper her tummy.  But she got constipated again today.  I couldn't even get the enema in her, because the poop blocked her butthole, and ended up blocking the nozzle of the enema.  So I thought to give her a little time, since it looked like it was about to come out eventually, and did my chores to pass the time.  But the poop didn't come out, so I put on a latex glove and pulled it out, the cat growling and snarling away.  At least I could get the enema in now, so I gave her a few hours before I administered the enema, with the cat growling and snarling away.  I was blessed not to get mauled.  But she was able to pass the entire blockage and boy, it was a mess I tell you.  The experience made her throw up her breakfast.  So sensitive.  So no more mixing in crushed cat food pellets to temper her stomach.  We'll have to go with the diarrhea, and hope her body adapts to it.

You too Natty, don't be afraid to express yourself.  Don't keep your feelings bottled up.  I know you dislike people talking about you, whether it be positive or whatever, but the worst they can do to you is to shut you up.  Yeah, big business is scary.  But being intimidated into silence is not a blessing.  So please do not be afraid to use your Instagram regularly.  I am with you.  I will always be with you inshaAllah.  I will take care of you inshaAllah.

Hi Honey

Hi there, my beautiful Erin.  Please don't be mad at me, because I love you so much.  I know you must be very busy, probably living out of a suitcase, because everybody loves you and wants you.  So please get lots of rest and relaxation time.  Try not to stay occupied.  Spend lots of time doing nothing.  I love just vegging out and being lazy.  I don't do that often, but I love doing it, and I would love to do it with you.  Just snuggle and be with you.  But there's always something to do, especially until then.  I cleaned my mother's bedroom this morning.  I made a cheese omelet for lunch.  I cut the grass after voice training.  I made one of those huge curry pups for dinner, plus a couple of hot dog pups.  Hot dogs cooked up as calzones, and enjoyed with mustard.  You have to cut up those hot dogs, or they will expand and burst through the dough.  After this I'll go to the mosque, then after that I'll stay on Second Life until I pass out, and run the other computer at the same time.

Hi Natty Honey!  Oh, everybody wants the beautiful college graduate!  I want you too, Gorgeous.  Have you seen those musicals "Chicago" and "Moulin Rouge"?  You don't have to see them.  Because they're not that great.  The music was poor, and it ruined the movies.  Which is a shame, because I think Danny Elfman is a great writer of music.  Too bad the stars weren't great singers.  I guess Hollywood hasn't made a good musical since "Grease".  The movies looked great, but I guess you can't "razzle dazzle" with bad music.

Chicago

Hi Honey!  Have you been busy?  Oh my poor, hardworking Sweetheart... you are so beautiful, and I love you so much.  Please take the time to get adequate rest, and try not go anywhere if you're not working.  Partying is hard work too, I'm sure you know.  But I'm sure you're earning the big bucks now.  Alhamdulillah.  Please don't waste it, and don't turn into a fat cat.  Ever since I started giving Floofy soft food instead of the cat food pellets, her tummy has been doing so much better.  But her breath is awful!  It's not coming from the mouth, either.  That breath is coming from the stomach.  Maybe I should mix some mint in with her food, but I better not.  Want some gum?  I saw the movie "Chicago" for the first time last night.  It was visually breathtaking, but I didn't like the music that much.  I guess it was acceptable for the time period, but the singing was awful.  I saw Harvey Weinstein's name in the credits.  Did he have sex with everybody in the movie?  Even Richard Gere?  Richard Gere shouldn't be singing.  I don't think I ever want to see that movie again.

Hi Natty Honey!  Is life wild and crazy for you again?  The difference is now you have a college degree.  Yay Natty!  After I watched "Chicago", I followed that with "Moulin Rouge".  These two movies, modern musicals I guess, were very impressive visually.  Great to look at.  Mind boggling.  But the music is just ugh!  I thought the music for "Chicago" was bad, but the music of "Moulin Rouge" was worse.  I couldn't even enjoy looking at the movie because I was cringing all the time because of the music.  I couldn't finish the movie.  If Kurt Cobain were alive today, he would kill himself after watching that movie.

That's a big curry pup

Hi Honey!  How are you?  Are you living out of your suitcase again?  Well, please make sure you get plenty of rest and eat properly.  Don't worry Honey, someday we'll stay in one spot and do our cooking together inshaAllah.  I made some curry pups today.  Yeah to the American mind, they are called calzones.  But to the locals (like my parents) they are known as curry pups/puffs, even though they may be stuffed with cheese and tomato sauce.  But today, I made the traditional filling which is beef, potato, onion, and curry spices.  I made 3 for my Mom who's fasting today an optional fast, and one for myself.  A HUGE one.  As you can see below.  Just so that you can gauge the size, the small ones are hand-sized.  Yes, as big as your hand.  Want one?  They're yummy!
Hi Natty Honey!  Wassap, pretty girl?  Oh, you're still on a graduation high!  As well as you should be- you have a degree and I don't.  So please make sure you get paid well for whatever you do.  I read in the news today that the new government is passing a law that all cooks in this country must be local.  Imagine that?  No imported cooks.  I've never heard of a country doing that.  Can you imagine America without imported cooks?  I'm so glad I don't have to rely on restaurants for food.  Ya Allah, thank You for the knowledge and the bounty that You have provided for me.

The point again being...

Sometimes I forget myself, and forget why what I do is so important.  I get frustrated because I'm still not married to my Erin and Natty, I still can't afford to get married.  The spiritual issue is more important than that.  When wealthy people believe that they are self-sufficient, they are not going to care much about God.  This is reflected in their actions, how they treat the poor.  Here I live in a poor state, the villagers here are not wealthy.  But there are those among the people here that truly care about God, and they treat the poor with dignity and respect.  That is one of the main reasons why I stand my ground here.

And same old same old

Hi Honey!  Aw Erin, you're so pretty.  And I love you so much.  How are you feeling today?  Don't you worry Honey, things will come together for us inshaAllah.  It's the same old same old for me here today.  I did my laundry, cut the grass, you know.  I haven't made dinner yet, I'll get to that after the sunset prayer which is coming up in half an hour.  Eggplant omelet and fries.  The vibe around here is still very political, as if people haven't gotten over the elections yet.  I sure hope they don't build an amusement park here.  Please stick to resources that are already available- don't go into debt!  The elections are definitely over for me, and my situation remains the same.  I need to be married.

Hey Natty Honey!  Hi hi!  How are you?  Are you still on a graduation high?  Enjoy it to the fullest then.  I'm with you.  I'll take care of you, inshaAllah.  You still haven't told me what your major was, I guess you want to leave me guessing.  If so, I'm guessing you are an Indiana Jones type of person.

Old Bond

Hi Honey!  How are you?  How's work?  It's football season right now, so I assume you are busy.  I mean the football-you-play-with-your-feet football.  I suppose it's not the usual football you have to deal with, but since you are a sports fan and Sports Princess, I would expect your bosses would want you to get involved with it in some way, seeing that it is a multi-billion dollar industry, and you have gone global as Mrs. Global.  I'm sorry Honey, I'm not a football fan.  I have absolutely no interest in watching a bunch of guys running around on a field chasing after a ball, and I don't really understand why other men show such fascination for it.  That's why you are the pro in that area.

Hey Natty Honey!  How's your exciting life today?  The computer wants you to watch another James Bond movie.  "Never Say Never Again" (1983).  This was Sean Connery's last appearance as 007, and he made it when he was, well, my age.  It's also a curiously independent movie out from a franchise, I wonder how they were able to release it.  Here's what Wikipedia has to say about it:

It is the second adaptation of Fleming's Thunderball,[2] which was previously adapted as the 1965 film of the same name. Unlike the majority of James Bond films, Never Say Never Again was not produced by Eon Productions, but by an independent production company, one of whose members was Kevin McClory, one of the original writers of the Thunderball story, who retained the filming rights of the novel following a legal dispute over them.

Wow.  We'll probably never see a situation like that again.  Never?  Movie franchises rule the business nowadays.  Franchising is so ingrained into the consumer, that any successful independent movie is likely to become a franchise in itself.  Sean Connery managed to break out of the Bond typecast, but no one will deny that it was Bond that made Sean Connery a superstar.

Nice and cool

Hi Honey!  How's life today?  How was work?  I hope everything went great for you.  Oh, it's been such a nice and cool day here for me.  I'm in such a good mood!  I hate hot weather.  Last night was so comfortable, I slept so well!  I got a total of 7 and a half hours of sleep, which is awesome.  I actually kept my shirt on most of the day, it was so cool.  Finally the rain stopped in the evening, now I'm sweating again.  Oh well, nothing lasts forever.  But I'm sure it's going to be another cool night.  Beautiful dreams!  Dinner was awesome too.  I had some spicy marinara sauce left over from Ramadan.  So I heated that up, and fried up some sliced eggplant and some ground beef.  I topped fettuccine with the eggplant and beef, then poured the hot sauce over that, with a slice of cheese.  Awesome!  Want some?  Oh I ate it all!  I should have taken a snapshot.

Hi Natty Honey!  How's it going for you today?  I wonder what you are doing now that school's out.  You are probably working, since you are such a hot babe and in hot demand.  Relax, and enjoy.  Put in lots of lazy time!  I watched "Scarface" last night.  No, you don't have to watch it.  Not yet.  I found it so hilarious that scene where he's sitting at his desk in his office in his mansion, he's accumulated all that wealth, and he's staring at a mountain of cocaine.  Everybody wants to be rich!

Sunday, June 17, 2018

Hi Honey

How are you doing today?  I hope you are doing and feeling great.  Of course I think of you all the time.  I love you and I will marry you inshaAllah.  Today is Sunday.  As usual I had to clean my mother's bedroom in the morning.  I have all this extra time now that the fasting month is over.  It's still not enough time though, plus I'm lazy.  It rained today, so I didn't have to do any yard work.  Instead, I worked a little on Shadowplay's next album.  What's it called?  It's a secret!  😆  I put down a few drum tracks with my wonderful new drum which I made myself.  It sounds so huge!  Real drums make all the difference for me.  Nothing special on the menu today.  Just leftovers from the Eid and fasting month, of which I have plenty to use up.  I had a dough ball that was one month old.  But that's what's so great about bread- it's now sourdough!  I LOVE sourdough.  Maybe I should always let my dough age a month.  Want some?  Oooh it's still gluten though...

Hi Natty Honey!  Wassap, beautiful girl?  Natty loves the drums!  Right?  Are you a dancing girl, Natty?  You certainly have the agility, but do you have the moves?  It's dark and gloomy here today, and very wet.  But I like that!  I loathe hot weather.  It's nice and cool right now, so I'm in a great mood.  The computer wants you to watch a movie today.  Sherlock Holmes!  "The House Of Fear" (1945).  This one is on YouTube!

Suicide is an animal instinct

Hi Honey.  How are you?  I've been missing you, I hope you are doing great.  Please stay fit and eat properly, rest a lot, and don't forget to pray.  I want you to know that I love you and I will not abandon you inshaAllah.  Someday, we will be married inshaAllah.

Hey Natty Honey.  That is really a beautiful snapshot.  I would love to see those eyes in the morning.  I hope you having lots of fun, and taking good care of yourself.  Please pray.  I want you to know that I love you and I will not abandon you inshaAllah.  Someday, we will be married inshaAllah.

People dump their cats in my yard, and expect me to take care of them.  When they are young and small, it is the abandonment that takes a toll on them, and they are already sick by the time I find them.  The weather was hot and dry, and they caught pneumonia!  I knew I would not be able to save Bob Cat III.  But I found it curious that he would always move towards the water, and would prefer to get wet.  As with his brother Marmalade, he died last night at midnight and I buried him then.  I had already dug the grave, because it's almost impossible to save a cat from pneumonia.  I brought him inside, and kept him warm and dry as best as I could.  The other cats, their attitude was "go ahead and die".  What complicated Marmalade's pneumonia is that he also caught a fever.  So I had to keep him warm and dry AND cool him down.  So I did my best to fight for the life of this baby cat.  My bedroom is hot, so when the fever hit I couldn't keep him in there with me.  I let him cool down by the bathroom door.  At one point, I saw some hope: he was becoming more active and breathing easily.  I checked up on him every 10-20 minutes, to keep his mouth and nose dry.  Then about 11:30 pm I went to check on him, and he had stuck his head into the drinking water bowl and tried to drown himself!  It was too late for him after that.  I held him in my arms until he died, then I could bury him.

Ya Allah, I didn't want to experience that.  That made me feel awful.  I guess the lesson I had to learn is that those were kittens, not children.

Selamat Hari Raya

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling today?  I'm guessing that you must be busy, as usual.  Everybody loves you, but not as I love you.  You are beautiful.  Today is the Eid, marking the end of Ramadan.  There is another Eid, which marks the end of the Hajj ritual.  So Muslims have 2 Christmases so to speak, but I prefer Ramadan over the Eid.  But I am grateful that I don't have to fast again for another year.  Coffee!  "Selamat Hari Raya" is the local lingo for the Eid, the literal translation being Selamat (safe) Hari (day) Raya (celebrate).  It is a public holiday of course, meaning that it is a peak tourist season for this area.  Which also means I try to stay out of sight.

Marmalade is still alive at this time.  I had lost hope for his survival, I have never nursed a cat out from pneumonia before.  100% failure rate.  If he lives it would truly be a miracle, and a wonderful Eid present from God.  I kept him warm and dry last night and this morning by hugging him to sleep.  Marmalade is an ungrateful patient though, but he is a cat after all.  I was blessed to have antibiotics from my last visit to the vet.  Can't buy antibiotics over the counter in this country.  He couldn't keep it in his stomach, but at least it means that the medicine got into his stomach, his mouth, and his lungs.  Then he caught a fever.  He was so close to death, it was right in the middle of my voice training, that I had to force feed him some fever reducer.  So he got some energy back, growling at my every attempt to dote on him.  He can't stomach medicine, he throws it up, so I absolutely cannot overdose him.  I was blessed to give him a single dose of anything.  He's also been throwing up phlegm (cats can't cough), that is another good sign.  Now he needs to cool down, so he's found a station at the door to my bathroom.  I check up on him often, wiping his mouth.  But it's far from over.  We'll see what happens tonight.

Hi Natty Honey!  How's life in Nattyland?  I hope you are feeling terrific, and having a marvelous time.  Are you an honest cop, Natty?  Integrity is such a difficult thing to maintain.  We often hear gossip about musicians and artists trying to keep their integrity.  But who can actually do it?  Today the computer wants you to watch "Serpico" (1973).  It might be on YouTube, but I posted the trailer here.  I also posted an interview with the real Serpico, so you can see what he thought of the movie.

R.I.P. Bob Cat III

Hi Honey.  How are you today?  I pray that you are doing great.  Today is the last day of fasting, and I just had my dinner.  My Mom gave me some food to break my fast with.  I'm so happy, that I get to drink coffee in the afternoon again!  Alhamdulillah, for a great Ramadan.  Certainly one to remember.  The month ended with 2 kittens coming into my yard.  They were both boys, they were very soft and they had no fleas.  It was very easy to feed them pills, so obviously they were once raised by humans, and indoors.  Abandoned in my yard.  But since I had a house full of females, I can't have boy cats in the house.  So tiny as they were, they had to learn now how to be outdoor cats.  Bob Cat III was weak when I found him, and he died today.  I didn't know what was wrong with him, but when I found his body, he was lying in a wet spot.  So he died of pneumonia.  That explains why the other cats were afraid of him, because they smelled death.  I couldn't smell death, but they could.  This also means that his brother Marmalade is about to get pneumonia.  Sure enough, Marmalade started to lose energy.  So I brought him inside, and gave him some antibiotics.  Now he is sitting right at the keyboard with me, so I can keep a constant eye on him.  The difference now is that I know what is happening to him.  Is he going to die?  InshaAllah, he will get better.

Hey Natty Honey!  How are you today?  I'm busy being a doctor for a cat right now.  I hate being a doctor, it's such heartbreaking work.  A successful doctor never finishes his work, and has many failures.  A bad doctor has nothing but failures.  This morning, I was cleaning out the cat box and Marmalade was with me.  Then a black snake showed up- a cobra.  It was a small snake, a baby.  So the baby snake and the baby cat were facing each other.  By that time I had returned from getting sand, so I grabbed a brick and threw at the snake.  I didn't kill it, but it didn't run away- it had its hood up, ready to pounce.  So I grabbed a steel pipe next, and whacked the snake with it.  Its stomach burst, but it was still wriggling.  So I smashed its head next, and threw the carcass into the baby mango trees.  Now it's night time, and they are calling the Isha' prayer right now.  Marmalade just threw something up.  I took a closer look at it, and it was bones and skin of a black snake.  Black puke.  He had eaten the cobra.

Marmalade

Hi Honey!  How's it going today, my darling?  I hope you are doing and feeling great.  It's a relatively cool day here today, and it's much easier to fast through the day when I'm not sweltering in sauna type weather.  Alhamdulillah.  Dinner was fettuccine in spicy marinara sauce with sliced chicken.  My new kitten Bob seems to be doing OK.  He's not active at all though, and it makes me wonder if he will survive.  But when I look closely at him, I don't see anything wrong.  His brother Marmalade behaves more like a kitten.  Lots of energy.  It took me 10 tries to get that snapshot, he just wouldn't sit still.  He likes to follow me around like a puppy.  Yeah he's cute now, but he's going to make a big and ugly adult with big balls.
Hi Natty Honey!  Oh, I like that song too.  But you don't have to wish for being young again, you are young.  So I sincerely doubt that you have peaked.  We've only just begun.  If I had met you 30 years ago, I would have only met your Mom.  But I was an active hiker back then.  Especially in cold weather, I would even march through blizzards.  I found it enjoyable.  I would prefer city streets instead of wilderness, because I would march and read a book at the same time, and use my peripheral vision to keep an eye on the traffic.  Today the computer wants you to watch another movie, "X-Men 2" (2003).  Please watch the movies I ask you to watch when I ask you to watch them, so we watch them together.

Bob Cat III

Hi Honey!  How are you today?  You must be busy, so please get lots of rest and take proper care of yourself.  Are you hungry?  For dinner I made chicken chow mein again.  I was still fasting when I made it, but I can make fried noodles without having to taste it.  Fasting month will be over in a couple of days, and my fridge is full.  Alhamdulillah.  Around here, the challenge during Ramadan is not to gain weight.  Rather, I think I lost some weight this Ramadan.  I went to the supermarket without putting on a belt, and my jeans kept on wanting to fall down.  There is a new kitten in the yard, and his name is Bob Cat III.  He's so small and delicate, but the other cats are terrified of him for some reason.  When I fed the outdoor cats, he came over for a few pellets of cat food.  The other cats wouldn't touch the food since, and they still haven't, a few hours later.  I brought him inside to give him a bath, and the indoor cats acted similarly.  His predecessor Bob Cat II would claim all the cat food as his.  But this kitten is so small!  The other cats are three times his size!  Floofy was not pleased with me that I let him in the house.  I worried that perhaps he was carrying some biological hazard that I can't detect, but the best I could do was give him a bath and feed him anti-worm and anti-fungal medicine.  He's not an active kitten, either.  All he does is observe.  You can see it in his eyes.

As it turns out, it was all a setup.  Bob is actually older than his size.  He acted all helpless to win my trust, so he could get his brother a home as well.  Yes, he has a brother.  It's an orange cat, and he's bigger than Bob.  Good thing they're boys, so they can live in the yard.  I've never had an orange cat before.  I'm running out of cat names.  I guess I'll just call him Marmalade.

Hi Natty Honey!  Are you excited?  Are you?  Are you?  Are you ready to catch the big fish?  Now that you've graduated, one might think you have lots of spare time.  OH NO!  Anyway, the computer wants you to watch a movie.  It's a German movie, "Stroszek" (1977).  I guess you could call it an artsy movie.  This movie has tremendous influence though, in the underground music circle.  You are blessed that I found this movie on YouTube with English subtitles.  The version I have is subtitled in Mexican.  I feel it kind of resonates with your freshly graduating, about the hopelessness of a "normal" life.  Or the American Dream.  What do you think?

Congratulations

Hi Honey!  How are you today?  It must have been a busy day at work for you.  Please try to pace yourself, eat sensibly, and get plenty of rest.  Don't forget to pray.  It's been an active day for me too.  Chores in the morning, and I had to cut voice training short by half an hour so I could go to the supermarket.  So I'm ending Ramadan the same way I started it: at the supermarket.  It wasn't as busy as it was at the beginning of Ramadan.  I suppose there are more shopping options for the Eid, which will be on Friday inshaAllah.  I love Ramadan, and this year's Ramadan has been a powerful one, but I'm looking forward to be able to have coffee while voice training again.  I didn't do any grass cutting in the evening because I had to deal with a couple of unexpected chores.  First I had to cremate the bloated carcass of a drowned cat which I found on an empty sack of cat food, dumped right at my front gate.  Then I had to welcome a new kitten to my yard.  If it had been a female I couldn't keep it, but it's a boy so he can stay in the yard.  If he lives and stays, his name will be Bob Cat III.  Yes he looks exactly like Bobby Wobby, but with a straighter tail.  I wanted to take a snapshot of him, but he vanished when I came around with the camera, so I'm posting a photo of Bob Cat II instead.  And for those of you who are still grumbling about this matter, I repeat again that I have made my decision about who I will marry.  Erin will be my first wife inshaAllah.

And Natalie will be my second wife inshaAllah.  Congratulations Natty Honey, on your graduation.  I am so very proud of you.  Is that a magic wand that you are brandishing?  You look like a beautiful giant in the foreground with all those frumpy girls in the back.  They should have kept their robes on.  Don't you worry Sweetheart, you're going to have an awesome time ahead of you inshaAllah.  I will marry you and take care of you inshaAllah.  I am so pleased you got your degree.  Thank you for staying in school.

Oh passion

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling today?  I hope your work went well for you.  I had a bit of hip trouble after cutting grass the other day- I'm still learning how to walk, especially since my feet grew 2 sizes a few years ago.  So I had a little more trouble than usual getting started, but once I gained momentum, the day went by just fine.  You may have noticed that during Ramadan this year, I didn't really cook all that much.  I kind of ran out of time and motivation thereof, so I just ate the simple stuff.  Cheeseburgers, ramen, steamed rice, fries, and for breaking fast today I had some rice gruel that the mosque gives away this time of year.  When Ramadan is over, I'll probably start doing food projects again.  You know what they say, no appetite no passion.  I don't know about that.  No gain weight, more likely.

Hi Natty Honey!  How are you?  Are you super busy?  Well, I hope you're having a grand old time.  Please try to keep that passion under control.  Don't worry Honey, we'll get through this with dignity.  My cat Luka has had too much passion this Ramadan.  This year's Ramadan, I learned that passion is a very serious issue.  Luka almost destroyed her butt earlier this month from licking it too much, and she's still in heat today.  I think she's finally on the verge of going out of heat, but she needs to be petted and loved.  With a cat in heat, you have to stroke her right up to the tail, and after a while of stroking you hold her butt and tail down firmly but gently with both hands so she can release the tension.  It took me a while to learn this, but you have to help her out so she can get some sleep.

Hugs

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling today?  Are you excited?  I hope your work is going nice and easy for you, and that you are feeling great and having a grand old time.  I'm doing just fine here, the atmosphere is busy, but I get to take my time which is great.  Lots of hugs and cuddles for you my darling, for I love you lots.

Hey Natty Honey!  Lots of hugs and cuddles for you too.  I certainly wish I could be there with you, we could have tons of fun together.  I'm quite experienced at giving massages, perhaps those beautiful shoulders could use some love as well.  Please look after yourself and don't worry so much, and try to enjoy the ride OK?

Slow down

Hi Honey!  How are you?  I'm sure you have been busy.  Sorry I'm running late today.  I woke up REALLY late: 10:44 am!  Wow!  That's the most I slept in in decades.  For a total of 7 and a half hours sleep.  I always have something to do, but since I'm the only one who's doing them, I'm the only one who notices when it's not done.  Does that make sense?  It does in my case.  So you slow down too, Honey.  Pisces is renowned for being flaky, we might as well flake out sometimes as is our reputation.  That's the trouble with us Erin, we're too reliable.  So much that people consider our work to be imperfect.  So slow down, and let the world follow the pace of your heart.  Your precious heart, the heart that I love so much.

As for you Natty Honey, you have so much energy you're bouncing off the walls like a pinball!  I envy your youth, even though I wouldn't want to return to mine.  I make less mistakes now that I'm older.  I know these words are not enough to quell the lust of youth, but do try and get a hobby.  Something to waste time.  And don't you worry, everything will turn out just great inshaAllah.

Hi Honey

How are you today?  How was work?  You must be very busy.  Because you're so sweet and pretty and nice, while I'm so mean and moody and unknown...  I took it quite easy today.  I had to do some house cleaning for my Mom, but that was all I was able to do in the morning.  I absolutely have to be well rested for voice training.  But in the evening, I went to pay the Internet bill, and bought peanuts, burger buns and chilli powder to keep Chee Cheah off the counter top.  Just because a cat knows she's elderly, she thinks she can get away with anything.  I'll be making cheeseburgers with eggs for breaking fast tonight.  Plus I have some shaved ice to cool me down.  Yummy!  Want some?

Hi Natty Honey!  Aw, you poor beautiful girl!  Don't you worry Sweetheart, everything is going to turn out just great inshaAllah.  You're going to have so much fun, and you are going to have a great life inshaAllah.  So hang in there, Gorgeous.  And know that I will take care of you inshaAllah, because you are MY girl OK?

Out of data

Hi Honey!  How are you today?  I'll bet you are busy.  I'm out of data right now, so I can't say much nor post any pretty pictures.  Even though my account balance says I have 0.2G left, my Internet is behaving as if I were using a 14.4k modem (way before your time).  I guess they're trying to save money by ripping us off again.  Anyway, I just want to say how beautiful you are and that I love you.  Please get plenty of rest, eat properly and don't forget to pray.

Hi Natty Honey!  Are you having tons of fun?  I can't talk much because I'm out of data.  I did have a dream last night that I was a male model in Zoolander.  Yikes!  Even if I had the looks and the teeth, I would never be a male model.  Anyway, I just want to say how beautiful you are and that I love you.  Please get plenty of rest, eat properly and don't forget to pray.

Spoonful

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling today?  I hope everything is going well for you.  I'm waiting to break my fast as usual, but I haven's started cooking yet.  What's on the menu is home fries (made from potatoes steamed in chicken broth) and a cheese omelet.  Hopefully I'll get my timing right, and they will be perfectly timed for dinner, as opposed to sitting and waiting for hours before eating.  Would you like to have some?  Do you like cheese?  It's not the best cheese in the world, just sliced cheese and it was on sale, 2 for 1.  Good enough for an omelet.

Oh Natty Honey! You look like a delicious vanilla sundae, I just want to stick my spoon into you and start eating!  But right now I'm still fasting.  By the way, is it customary to tuck your shirt into your bikini bottom?  Oh, it's a new trend.  I get it.

Park at your own risk

Hi Honey!  How was work today?  I hope you had a good day today.  You are beautiful to me, and I love you.  It's still the fasting month for me.  I truly believe that fasting makes a Muslim stronger, but I do need to learn how to pace myself.  Especially when it comes to singing, I'm figuring out how to maintain power all the way up through the entire 2 hours.  If I can do this while fasting, then it won't be a problem when I'm not, inshaAllah.  Quest for the perfect set every time!  Now we have figured out inshaAllah, that in order for a business to be profitable off this music, it has to be connected to me in some fashion, like be married to me or something like that.  But when people look at the crowd, who can blame them if they try to get in on the action somehow.  They might park their business at the side of the road and sell whatever, for instance.  PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK.  IT WILL COST YOU TO PARK HERE.  WE WILL NOT COMPENSATE YOU FOR ANY LOSSES YOU MAY INCUR.
Hi Natty Honey!  How's life going for you today, you beautiful little sweetheart?  I hope you are having tons of fun, and don't forget to pray and take good care of yourself.  I saw "Rogue One" for the first time last night.  The Star Wars junkies had been pressing on me that "Rogue One" is the best Star Wars movie.  It is pretty darn good, and I will have to agree with them.  I wonder how long the Star Wars franchise will last?  I think killing Luke off was a mistake.  But who can tell with these franchise junkies, they may latch on to anything in lieu of a real religion.  What a life, huh?  No Honey, you don't have to watch this movie if you don't want to.  The computer hasn't assigned it to you yet.

BBQ chicken chow mein

Hi Honey!  How's it going today?  How was work?  I hope everything is going well, and you are feeling great, because I love you so much.  It's about 7 pm here right now, I'm sitting here writing this letter, and waiting to break fast in about half an hour.  It's been an active day: Sunday is usually busy for me.  I clean my mother's bedroom in the morning plus my other chores.  In the evening, I cut the grass by the rice paddy in front of your house inshaAllah.  I can only do short periods of yard work right now, because I have to cook my dinner.  So I have all my food ready: I break fast with plain water ( I don't like dates), and my Mom gave me some sweet cakes.  I bought some grated ice from the one of the stalls at the crossroads, and I have that in the freezer.  The main course is BBQ chicken chow mein.  Fried noodles comes like clockwork to me.  First you have to make the fond, or sauce.  I start off with frying chopped garlic,  I have some blended onions and chillies, so I added that next.  Then I have some leftover BBQ sauce from my BBQ chicken a few days ago.  Heavenly stuff.  Alhamdulillah.  So I put that in there.  Then chicken broth, let it all bubble up in the heat of the wok, put the cooked chicken meat in, then the noodles go in.  This brand of noodles are bitter, so you have to cook it to death.  It's already pretty thick, but I mix in an egg to make it thicker.  When that's done, I turn off the fire, and throw in the scallions.  Yummy!  Want some?

Hey Natty Honey!  Are you busy, my darling?  Oh you poor, beautiful girl!  Don't you worry love, everything is going to turn out just great inshaAllah.  Are you hungry?  Are you hungry?  Are you?  Well I don't have a salad, but something better: BBQ chicken chow mein!  You would be hard pressed to find this at any restaurant, no matter how posh it may be.  Come and join me for dinner!  Family only!

Wow...

...tired.  How are you today, Honey?  How are you feeling?  I hope you are feeling great.  I feel tired today.  I'm sure I sounded tired during voice training, but I got through the entire (no pun) 2 hours.  I also managed to crank out the chores in the morning, but I didn't cut grass in the evening.  Instead I cleared up the dead leaves and rotten fruit in my parents' yard.  Which left me time to actually do some cooking.  Which was fry bread, with diced beef, potato and onions.  Pan fried with salt and cilantro seed.  I stewed the potatoes with the chicken bones while making broth, so I'm sure those will taste good.  Would you like to share my dinner with me?

Hey there, Natty Honey!  Are you excited?  Are you?  Are you?  Please make sure you get plenty of rest, and that you have fun at whatever you do.  Ooooh, you have a movie to watch today.  This one might be a little hard to find.  "They Call Me Trinity" (1970).  There is a Portuguese sub on YouTube, but you should watch the English version so you can get the jokes.  Yes ma'am, it's supposed to be a comedy.  Or I'[m sure there's an Italian version around.  Are you in Milan, by chance?

Life in the Public Eye

Hi Honey!  How are you feeling today?  I'm sure you have gotten used to being in the Public Eye, and have learned by now how deep the rabbit hole goes.  Perhaps you may long sometimes for the anonymity of being a nobody, but you're not a nobody.  You're beautiful, and you're MY girl.  Right now people are REALLY interested in what you are eating, so please be aware of that.  What's for dinner, anyway?  I broke my fast with a bowl of ramen, and some cookies.  I could have made more food, but I didn't.  I was busy cutting grass.  I had an active day today.  I went to the taxman to drop off a form, I had a haircut, and bought a few groceries and paid my phone bill.  Went to Friday prayers.  I read in the news that they're going to turn the west side of Langkawi into another Dubai type attraction.  That's nice.  I think I'll just stay right here, like God ordered me to.  I have no interest in Dubai anyway.  Even if I had money, I wouldn't go there.

Hi Natty Honey!  How's life on the carousel?  Or have you gone back to studying how to ride the carousel?  Please make sure you keep safe and have fun, and don't be paranoid because that would ruin your fun.  Just ride the snake, my love.  Right now people are interested in what happened last week.  Yes, they want to see you with boys.  Please stay away from boys, OK?  We're going to be married inshaAllah.
