Chandelier

Hi Natty!  How's it going?  I hope you are keeping calm, and enjoying your fabulous life.  I think it's a good thing you are outside of the US right now since there's no socialized medical care there, but once you do get back, make sure you neutralize even the slightest sensation of any cold or flu symptom.  Kill it in its early stage!  No, face masks don't help.  Mary Unknown7 and I are upgrading her avatar right now.  We're in the process of tweaking it, and she's still not happy with the results.  I told her it's going to take a while to find out what's best for her avatar, if not we can just go back to the old one.  The Jap kids want her to sing "Chandelier" by Sia.  Mary said she would do it, but it's going to take a while for her to master the song.  So you kids will get to hear it when you get to hear it.  Mary said that if that high note had been a half step higher, the song would have been impossible for her to sing.  But as it is, she said could probably sing it sometimes.  I think "Chandelier" is a suicide song but Mary says it isn't, it's just another despair song and she sings a lot of those.  What do you think?  I like Maddie Ziegler a lot, but I think I'll pass on posting the video here.  I'm sure you folks have seen it already- it's got more than 2 billion views!

Qur'an 20200302

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

84.  If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished of their deeds.

85.  Verily God Who ordained the Qur'an for you will bring you back to the Place of Return.  Say, "My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance and who is in manifest error."

The Narrations 28:84-85

What no cheese?

Oh I haven't seen a bookstore like that in years, Natty.  I think they still have those in the US, small and comfortable.  But those old books and old chairs don't look like they can be sanitized with bleach- I don't think they be sanitized whatsoever.  How would you sanitize a book, Natty?  There is no way you would get a bookstore like that here in the tropics- it would be exploding with vermin.  Too much life!  I remember poetry readings at bookstores like that before the age of computers.  We would try to focus, all the while gorging on wine and cheese.  It should have been coffee and cheese.  I don't drink wine.  Oh, it's time to applause!  Zzzzz....

Ah, another little game of Find the Natty.  This time it looks like you've got yourself a remarkable clone durags and all, I'm glad you gave me 24 hours to figure this one out.  You shouldn't make these tests too difficult, Natty.  Men can be stupid you know, especially when exhausted like I am today.  And you would be VERY upset and unhappy if I gave you the wrong answer.  But my Natty is the one on the left, holding the cell phone.

Crazy horses

Natty I was just kidding about the forest ground thing, you know that.  You are beautiful to me, and I love you with all of my heart.  How are you feeling?  I hope you are feeling good and relaxed.  You are looking mighty sharp in Balmain, I must say.  I like Balmain stuff.  Very high class.  It looks very very expensive.  This virus thing is freaky, isn't it?  Apocalyptic, rather.  Perhaps God is punishing us for our putting our faith in pathological liars.  But people are going to do that anyway, so Judgment Day is imminent.  This is turning out to be quite a spiritual time for you, don't you agree?  You don't don't need to be in the Arabian desert or at a tropical paradise to find God.  God is everywhere.  And you're still in the middle of it, so ride that wild horse!  Now I don't want you to feel bad about all the markets crashing and stuff, it's not your fault.  Take the money and run, OK?

This is the last of February's "I don't need Valentine's Day to show you I love you" photos.  I love you regardless!

Mary's look today is Country Diva.  She didn't sing a single country classic today, though.  That's how the randomizer randomizes.  Or maybe it's all just country music.

Qur'an 20200229

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

71.  Say, "See you if Allah were to make the night perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you enlightenment?  Will you not then hearken?"

72.  Say, "See you if Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which you can rest?  Will you not then see?"

The Narrations 28:71-72

Sniffle

Do you have a cold, Natty?  Well you had better go see a doctor immediately if not already, and medicate that cold while it's in its early stages.  There's a dangerous virus on the loose right now, I'm sure you know that.  That's what happens when you set your naked butt on the forest ground.  Oh, the drama!  Yes my love, you are beautiful and I love you with all my heart.  It probably didn't help being in the Louvre all day.  It was probably cold in there, and all those people.  I wish I could have browsed with you, but alas it was not meant to be.  Oh, the international intrigue!  About that dream, a bouquet of daisies means sadness while a field of daisies means prosperity and good health.  Which one was it, my love?  I don't want you to be sad, because I love you and I will marry you inshaAllah.

Mary's gown has daisies on it.  They are daisies, I think...

Darkness during the day

That is a dark street, Natty.  They should really leave the lights on there.  It's probably brighter at night.  Make sure you shine a light whenever you walk that street.  Don't use your phone, buy a flashlight.  Something easy to carry, but strong enough to break bricks.  And if you need to hit something, use enough force to break bricks.  I suppose if you lived there, people would treat you like part of the gang and you would probably enjoy your work more.  But what's done is done, so please be patient.  I guess we both need to be patient.

I rediscovered a reason why I cook for myself: I don't give myself heartburn.  But it's nothing a few peanuts or sunflower seeds can't fix, and I don't have time nor motivation to prepare lavish menus for myself.  The lack of perfection is what irks me most about this world.  I feel sorry for Mary Unknown7 when she makes the slightest mistake, people jump all over her.  Then when she delivers a perfect performance, they get even angrier.  It is my job to protect her.  Who would have ever thought that being a chick singer is a military position.
