How are you feeling, Honey?  You don't talk much to me anymore, but I understand.  But when the money comes to me inshaAllah, I'm going to need your help OK?  I want to marry you.  That was a strange rain cloud this morning.  Yeah I was picking up my Dad's meds this morning, and a rain could followed me around.  It had rained earlier but the rain died, so I thought it would be safe to run errands.  So I had to pick up the prescriptions at 2 places, first I went to the clinic and it was nice and sunny.  While I was waiting, I was mesmerized by this guy who had the hairiest ears I had ever seen.  It looked like there was thick armpit hair growing on his ears.  When I got out from the clinic, there was this very low rain cloud rushing up to me as fast as a speeding sports car.  Good thing the hospital was right next door, because that's where I had to go next.  Right as I reached the pharmacy window, the rain slammed down.  Wow!  It's almost as if that rain cloud had a soul.  As it was, I also managed to stop at the supermarket and I didn't get soaked at all between the bursts.  Allah was being nice.  Alhamdulillah.

Natty, I forgot to wish Happy Birthday to your twin brother.  Sorry, but I forgot.  I guess I really am girl crazy...

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

106.  And most of them believe not in Allah without associating with God!

107.  Do they then feel secure from the coming against them of the covering veil of the wrath of Allah, or of the coming against them of the Hour, all of a sudden, while they perceive not?

108.  Say you, "This is my Way.  I do invite unto Allah, on evidence clear as the seeing with one's eyes, I and whoever follows me.  Glory to Allah!  And never will I join gods with Allah!"

109.  Nor did We send before you any but men, whom We did inspire, living in human habitations.  Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them?  But the home of the Hereafter is best, for those who do right.  Will you not then understand?

110.  Until when Our messengers giveup hope, and think they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help,and those whom We will are delivered into safety.  But never will be warded off Our punishment from those who are in sin.

Yay, pizza!

Happy Birthday, Natty!  Let's celebrate with pizza!  Yay!  Yahoo!  Yippee!  Yeeeehaaaaw!  First is the deep dish pizza.  I messed up the crust a little, dammit.  Next time I'll be more patient, and wait until the thing cools down before I handle it.

That crust was a bit deep.  Since the cheese goes on the bottom, I had to fill it up with something tangible.  Good thing the eggplant was abundant in the garden.  By the Will of Allah!  I have no power but the Power of Allah!  So the deep dish pizza is eggplant and sausage.

Next is the regular crust pizza.  Argh!  The basil is still too young!

But I decided that I had enough baby basil to make my favorite sausage and basil pizza.

Did I eat all that pizza?  Hell, yeah!  Now that I don't have to work at the pizza joint anymore, I fuckin' love pizza!  Well, no.  I gave a couple slices of the deep dish pizza to my parents.  And if you were here to eat pizza with me, I would have made another pizza!

Natty, please don't dangle pretty blondes in front of me like that.  It's not nice. What's the countdown for?  Pizza?  The Final Countdown?  The countdown to my extinction?  I've been waiting for that last one for a while already, but Allah keeps me alive for some reason.  Alhamdulillah.  While I live, you will always have my devotion.  You are beautiful, and I love you.

Just another average day

Hi there, my beautiful Ladies!  How are you today?  I hope you are feeling healthy and happy, and that business is going easy for you.  Oh, it's just another day here for me.  It's all the same old day really, today is Friday though and I had to attend the Friday prayer.  I always go there early because they have air conditioning there, so it's about the only place where I'm able to fall asleep.  It's ironic that I'm good at putting other people to sleep, yet I can't get enough sleep.  Unless I'm singing, when I can easily put myself into a coma but I have to stay awake and alert so I don't compromise the music.  Rotten irony!  😩  But I did manage to find a good time to practice guitar, right after the dawn prayer since I'm unable to fall back to sleep.  I put on the headphones, because I like to just piss around on the guitar (following my train of thought) and I don't want people to hear me, which they can even if I were to use a speaker the size of a Pringle's lid.  Believe or not, there are many music critics active at 6 am.  Anyway, I'm going to try and sneak a nap in before I head back to the mosque.
