Free pizza for life for my wife. This one is sausage and extra extra basil about to go into the oven. Look at all that basil! Cheese is always last at home. Yummy! Want some pizza? You like pizza, huh?

Qur'an 20160714
n the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
32. Say, "Who has forbidden the beautiful of Allah, which God has provided for God's servants, clean and pure, for sustenance?" Say, "They are, in the life of this world, purely for them on the Day of Judgement." Thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who understand.
33. Say, "The things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are illegal sexual activity whether open or secret, sins or trespasses against truth or reason. assigning of partners to Allah for which God has given no authority, and saying things about Allah for which you have no knowledge."
(The Heights 7:32-33)

Fish n' Squid n' Chips
with onions. The potatoes are dark because they had been sitting in my cooler since the beginning of Ramadan, but they still taste good. Plus the savory of onions. Hm. I wonder where I got the idea of cutting the fries smaller? It's a great idea, though. The fish could have been crispier, but I didn't want to overcook them. Next time I'll use breadcrumbs.

Qur'an 20160713
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
28. When they do that which is shameful, they say,"We found our fathers doing so," and "Allah commanded us thus." Say, "Allah never commands what is shameful. Do you say of Allah what you know not?"
29. Say, "My Lord has commanded justice, and that you set your whole selves at every time and place of prayer, and call upon God, making your devotion sincere as in God's sight. Such as God created you in the beginning, so shall you return."
(The Heights 7:28-29)

Nobody sells one kilo of rice anymore
My avatar never smiles. But just now while I was at the dance club, for a few seconds she was grinning away! No, I didn't command her to smile. For that brief moment, she looked so happy. I know why. I can't say why in this public place, though.
Anyway, I can't buy just one kilo of rice for my sushi today. Rice comes in 5 kilo portions around here, and I don't have the money to buy 5 kilos of rice. What was on sale were boil-in-the-bag pressed rice called "ketupat", common food during the Eid. So I bought a pack of that, and since it's supposed to be pressed rice it would be sure to be sticky, and perfect for sushi. The fish of the day is mackerel. Yeah I don't have anything better, because I'm broke. Sushi originated in Japan as poor man's food, anyway. The mackerel were gorging on silversides when they were caught, and they had them in their mouths when I bought them. The little fish were eating littler fish. So the sushi today is mackerel, egg, chives, and mackerel liver. Delicious! Want some? Dutch treat! No, my treat.

But seriously, folks
If you want to audition your music, you should give it to Erin. She's the DJ of the family, she's nice, and she'll play it on her show or something. I used to be nice. When it comes to music, I'm the tyrant of the family. I have my vision, and that's all I'm interested in.
I was at the night market just now, and bought some food for dinner. But the portion was so small, it wasn't even worth photographing. You may argue that if I want a bigger portion, then I should pay more. But I need to buy fish for sushi tomorrow, so I had to cook up some bread nuggets with marinara sauce to fill me up.
