Movie night

 

Hi Natty!  How are you?  You must be having lots of fun being you, I sure hope you are.  Please keep healthy and safe, and go ahead and spend!  I wish I could spend.  I'm weary of being kept poor.

Tonight is movie night!  "Parasite" (2019).  I have my own washer, and I do laundry twice a week.  I just use powdered detergent, then I line dry my clothes inside the house.  Lately my T-shirts have been smelling like old rags, like the old sarong I wear when I scrub my parents' toilet.  I do have a couple new sarongs, I haven't worn one of them yet, and they don't smell anything like my T-shirts.  I'm thinking that rich people smell better because they can afford to throw away the stuff that stinks.  Besides the wonderful clothes motif in this movie, I also was impressed at the scene where the Kims and the rain water went down and down almost endless flights of stairs into the flood and sewage.  That was masterfully done.  "Parasite" is a great movie, but I don't think I want to watch it again.  Hm.  Maybe fabric softener might make a difference with my laundry.

Oh, how awesome!  The Sid Neigum FALL 2022 READY-TO-WEAR collection is on Vogue!  I'm still in the middle of Spring 2022, but of course I'll make an exception.  You're fabulous, dahlink!

I had a small pack of sardines sitting around waiting to be used, so I turned it into pasta sauce.  It's simple: just fry up some hot sauce, then add the sardines (already in its own sauce) then break it up and heat it up, then mix in the angel hair.  I had to take out the bones of course, but that's easy with sardines.  Served with plain omelet.  Oh no, I forgot the tomatoes!  It was successful, and the cats had mondo snacks for dinner.

I had to make Mary's thighs thinner to fit in the dress.  An advantage with virtual models.  Her outfit today is:

So what did I like from the Sid Neigum FALL 2022 READY-TO-WEAR collection?  All of it, of course!  Sorry Honey, I can't post the naughty snapshots!  Love that side profile, though!  Here are my favorites:

High heels

 

Yes Honey, I know which feet are yours.  The pair on the top left, the strong looking feet made for climbing rocks.  You kept them strong by not torturing them in uncomfortable shoes.  On the other hand, the foot with toe polish is shaped like a high heel.  That's probably because it has been wearing high heels for years on a regular basis.  Natty if you are looking for an MC (medical cert) from me not to wear high heels on the red carpet, then of course I would give it to you.  But it's not my wish for you to walk the red carpet- this is YOUR dream.  Fashion police are ruthless, they look at every inch of your body.  High heels isn't like plastic surgery.  Your nose is regal, and it makes the clothes you wear look magnificent.  Your nose is an advantage.  But if you didn't wear high heels on the red carpet, you would be at a disadvantage.  You would lose.

But what is win or lose on the red carpet anyway?  No one would admit it, but there is some sort of competition going on.  Is it to gather the most attention?  The most praise?  The most fashion press?  It's SO subjective Honey, that's Hollywood glamor for you.  I'll put it in girlie language: it's to be the most beautiful girl in the world.  On the red carpet, celebrities and movie stars would have to compete with how pretty you are.  For what again?  Whatever, you still have time to adapt your feet to beautiful shoes and learn to walk like a sex bomb.  Looks like you have a choice to make: comfortable shoes and rock climbing, or beautiful shoes and red carpet.

Would you like a mushroom omelet with fresh tomatoes and home made flat bread?  Pardon the dish, I like to eat from an iron plate for some reason.  I found a guy who sells home grown Roma tomatoes, and they are very sweet.  Sweet tomato!  When it rains, oyster mushrooms grow like mad around here, and can be very cheap.  This batch I bought smells kind of funny, though.  I wonder what they grew them in.  You're not supposed to wash mushrooms, you know.  I might have to throw the whole lot out.  They didn't taste weird.

Here are my picks from the Tommy Hilfiger SPRING 2022 READY-TO-WEAR collection:

Aloof

 Hi Natty!  How are you feeling?  Are you excited?  As well you should be.  You're playing a woman's game now, no more 14 year olds here.  The next stop is the red carpet.  The red carpet is an exam, and you must study so you don't panic when it happens.  Start studying now for your Doctorate in Sociology: Hot Babe-ship.  This is Professor Zam here to give you some knowledge.  Study these next 2 ladies.  They have impeccable demeanor on the red carpet, and you must observe and copy them, better yet surpass them.

First is Vanessa Kirby.  I didn't know of her until yesterday.  It was her aura on the red carpet that made me notice her.  Note that she keeps her hands to her sides, and seldom places her hands on her hips.  She stands straight and seldom smiles, unless she is having a conversation.  She seems above it all, as well the red carpet is supposed to be above it all.

  Next up is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.  Rosie has a gang: Victoria's Secret.  Yes.... THAT gang.  Which means she will be the source of much misfortune.  She also keeps her hands to her sides, and seldom places them on her hips.  She is freer with a smile, probably because Jason Statham is there to beat up anybody who pisses her off.  I believe she had a baby a couple of years ago, which means she's ready to get back into action.

Know your competition, because it's damned sure that they are aware of us.  These girls are trouble, so get ready for trouble.  I wish I could be there to back you up, but it's you who people want to look at.  You will have to walk that catwalk alone, so get ready.  And it is just a catwalk, so you don't have to smile or even talk to anybody.  Put that nice girl away and put on your serious face.  I can't be there and I can't beat people up for you, but I am able to give you a spiritual reading of anyone who bugs you so we know how to deal with them inshaAllah.  So please make sure you tell me who bothers you, OK?  Once again, be smug and aloof, stand straight, keep your hands to your sides, and high heels!  You can do this, Natty!  Practice, practice, practice!
