The abandoned cat

 

Four or five days ago, I saw a black and white cat pleading with people at the mosque.  It wasn't afraid of humans, it went around them asking and asking, but it was trained enough not to enter the building.  After a couple of days, it stopped asking.  It never spoke to me though, but I saw it under the shoe rack.  Its face looked like it had been injured somehow.  I wanted to bring it some food, but I kept forgetting.  But yesterday I remembered.  I looked for it, but one of the guys said it had died.  That happened quickly, only a few days of abandonment.  A cat martyr.

Patience is a game to pass the time

 

I like to play Eternium nowadays to help pass the time while I wait for Allah.  I don't want to be the best player, but I do enjoy accumulating strength.  Gathering resources is tedious, but it makes me drowsy.  I play this game for relaxation.

I love that photo of you sleeping with a Strat.  Sleep is whenever you get it, regardless of whether or not you are a busy professional.  It sucks to not be able to lie down and rest properly.  I have learned to sleep on a chair.  I prefer hard chairs.  When you have time for a quick nap Grace, don't try to fall asleep.  Go directly into a dream.

Meet the family

 

I want to introduce you to my cat family.  Not the video, that's generic YouTube fluff.  My cats are village cats but the parents are unrelated, and that helps them be strong and healthy inshaAllah.  Plus I keep them in the house so they don't contract sickness from other cats.

The boys were in a serious mood when I took this photo session.  They had just been squabbling over something, pee perhaps.  Helmut seemed to enjoy the extra attention, so he cheered up.  It made him hard to photograph, though.  Yes, those are gallon bottles of bleach.  I have 7 cats.

Otto wasn't in the mood to be photographed.  He's a big, strong boy and he uses his strength to laze around and eat snacks.

Adolf Kitler is the alpha male.  I found Papa Cat and his sister when he was a kitten dumped outside my mother's window.  Lily didn't survive, she became epileptic after her first heat.  But Adolf is my buddy, and an absolutely great cat.

Mama Cat is Lookie.  She's also the oldest at 11 years old.  The girls were easier to photograph for some reason.

This is Anna.  She loves to perch on top of the ladder, but this time she was on the closet.

Gunhilde has to be smartest.  She's the girl with the Nietzsche moustache.  She's also the most quarrelsome.

I know I'm not supposed to have a favorite, but Jane Rambo is the only cat I allow in my bedroom.  I named her that because she was a preemie: Lookie had her first batch of kittens when she was 9.  Somehow, Jane wanted to live.  I'm grateful Allah saved her life, but I don't ever want to have go through that ever again.

I love my kitties!  I want to take them all at once and give them a big hug!  I'll probably get clawed to death...

Can you feel it

 

What Janis did is actually very dangerous.  It can also be known as "all out abandon", and with emotions you need someone to catch you before you fall in too deep.  Materialism (entertainment business) is very imperfect, and despair is imminent when you invest your emotions in it.  When it comes to singing though, there's no other way to do it.  You have to give all your heart, or be mediocre.
