How are you , Honey? Super hectic, huh? Fantasy football! I've been getting that a lot in my inbox. I hope you are finding time to rest and relax, and have a nice chocolate mousse. Doesn't that sound nice? Lat me pinch those shoulders, and loosen them right up. I love your hair. I like it curly. How about a long, silent brushing?
I did take the time to organize all the trash generated by the chainsaw yesterday. But I didn't do any burning, because it was hazy out. It wasn't too hazy, but I didn't burn nonetheless. Which meant I got done early, so I went downtown to buy a chicken. I found a big fat one over 3 kilos, and it burst out of the bag. It was so huge! I also got some tomatoes and curry pups. On the way home, I stopped by 7-Eleven for a Slurpee. There's nothing like a Slurpee on a hot day. I want to install a Slurpee machine in my home.

Chainsaw!
Hi Erin and Natty! How are you feeling today? Yeah, there is a flood of emotion going all over the world over Mary Unknown7. Girl singers are so troublesome. So we swim, and avoid the deep waters. I hope you are having a marvelous time, and everything turns out awesome for you. I had a lot of work to do with the chainsaw today. It's not like in the movies and video games, where you can find a chainsaw anywhere, pick it up and it's ready to go and cut up anything into nice little logs. First I had to oil and fuel the thing. Then to start it, I had to pump and prime the gasoline within its fuel line. Then assuming the chain is properly in place, pull the choke then yank the starter cord a few times until it shows some life. Once that happens, I turn off the choke and run it for a few seconds. Now it's ready. I suppose by that time, I would be overwhelmed by zombies huh? My Mom had a small tree to remove, that only took a few minutes. It's disposing the trash that takes a long time. Maybe I could just chuck the trash into the ocean and forget about it? No, we try to be an environmentally conscious family. Right? There was an undead stump growing on the roof of my grandfather's old house that had to go. I had to do that on a ladder. That was awkward. More so because the chainsaw spit sawdust right into my face due to the angle I had to hold it, above my head. Good thing I wore goggles. I hate using a chainsaw on a ladder. Then I went around the compound and cut as many unwanted saplings I could find. Ugh, labor. Does it make me a better person? I don't feel like a better person. Tomorrow I go around and collect all the trash that the chainsaw generated. InshaAllah.
Dinner was liver again. I have a lot of liver in the freezer right now, beef and chicken. This time, I used a base of potato and onion. I marinated the chopped liver in turmeric powder and salt. Simplicity, Clarice. The tortillas are fat today. A very filling meal. Alhamdulillah.

The cats' water
Hi Erin and Natty! How are you today? How are those emotions? Is the whole country feeling it? I want you to know that I love you, and I will marry you inshaAllah. I have to be the one who pays for the marriage of course, so please pray that Allah grants me wealth enough to marry soon.
"Sambal tumis" (blended onions, chillies, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp paste) fried in oil until saturated) is a local hot sauce. It's a great go-to sauce, and the locals don't realize how versatile it is. Yesterday I used it for pizza sauce and it worked great. Today I used it to cook liver for my tortillas. I have a lot of liver in the freezer right now, beef and chicken. First I fry up some onions until brown, then I add cubed eggplant and cook it until the eggplant is soft. Then I add the sliced liver, and cook it until the liver is done but not hard- don't overcook! Soft with no redness! Then add the "sambal tumis", heat and mix thoroughly. It was a filling dinner. The tortillas were fat today.

Mini pizzas
Hi Erin and Natty! How are you? I hope all is well with you, and you are having a fabulous time. It's gotten back to being hot and awful again, after a stint of cool weather. I'm guessing it's going to be a hot night as well. I always have to take a cold shower before bed to cool down so I can sleep, I don't have air conditioning. Have you ever sweated while still wet from a cold shower? It happens. I made mini pizzas for dinner today. I had some sausage in the freezer left over from the last pizza project, the basil was nice, big and green, but I only had a couple of tortilla dough balls available. So I made mini pizzas. I had no marinara sauce, so I used "sambal tumis" (blended onions, chillies, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp paste) fried until saturated) and it worked just as well. I think it was a success. I used sliced cheese so it's not very photogenic, so no snapshots. Even so, I think the appearance was acceptable as was the flavor. I think these mini pizzas would be excellent food for ladies. Very dainty. Just don't eat 10 of them in a sitting.

HAL 9000
Hi there, my beautiful Ladies! How are you today? What's on the menu? I just had chicken wings! I love hot wings, and the wings were nice and fat today. I made the wing sauce myself. It had a lot of garlic in it. Raw garlic. Oh dear. No more socializing today. I wonder how garlic would fit in with married life? It's so tasty, though. And good for you.
Last night, I proceeded to reprogram my computer so that Mary Unknown7's singing can be heard without latency. The computer resisted being reprogrammed all the way down to the hardware and the motherboard. I felt as if I were in "2001: A Space Odyssey". Finally he began cooperating when I started poking at his chassis with a screwdriver. So I guess we reached an agreement. And what do you know: no latency today. Computers today think they run the world. Maybe they do... No, his name is not HAL.
