They say, "You gotta stay hungry"...

Hi there, my lovely Ladies!  How are you feeling?  Elated?  Excited?  I hope you are feeling great, and having a wonderful time.  I'm not feeling very social right now, so I stayed home all day.  Well, I did take out the trash.  I vacuum cleaned my mother's house, then I had a kitchen project to do.  I had made "sambal tumis" (onions, chillies, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp paste) blended then fried until saturated) a while ago and stuck it in my freezer, but it was too spicy for my stomach.  My mouth is oblivious to spicy food, but my stomach is very sensitive to it.  So I had to dilute the stuff somehow, by adding more blended onions and oil then frying it again.  I had rice with sardines and fried onions for lunch, so I tried it out with that.  It's OK, it didn't hurt my tummy all that much, but I sure miss spicy food.  I've been eating only a half pot of rice on my diet, but after the fasting month I went back to eating a whole pot.  Just gluttony I suppose, it's nice to feel full.  But I can't eat too much before voice training: I may sound OK but I don't enjoy it.  I get the best results during fasting month, so that means I must have a light lunch.  *sigh*  Like they say, "You gotta stay hungry"...

Hi Erin

How are you today, Honey?  I'm sure you are busy.  I hope you are feeling great, and everything is going smoothly for you.  Today is Sunday.  I always clean my mother's bedroom on Sundays.  I usually buy my lunch so I don't have to cook after doing that labor.  So first thing in the morning, I went to buy "nasi lemak" (rice steamed in coconut milk with "sambal tumis" (onions, chillies, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp paste) blended then fried until saturated), crunchy anchovies and hard boiled egg).  The woman at the roadside was still setting up, she was late today.  While I had to wait, some guy was there ahead of me had his daughter buy the rice while I had to stand behind her.  I can understand why people would want me to marry their daughters.  But I also think that it's not fair when they become upset when I show no interest.  People have emotions, I know.  So let me make this clear: I have already made a promise of marriage to 2 women, and I intend to keep my promise.  Yes, I intend to die trying.  Marriage is a serious business.  I think I will avoid people for about a week.  I'll cook my own lunch if I have to.

Ah Natty, you're in LA?  I assume you are visiting your twin brother.  Coincidentally, I have been watching a lot of videos about homeless people.  Oh I'm just trying to prepare for death, as usual.  So I watched a lot of videos about Skid Row.  As an environmental activist, you should take some interest in the environmental hazards created by the homeless.  That's quite a poser, isn't it?  How do you deal with trash when it's human?  I used to be homeless once, but Allah saved my life (again).  That truck looks tough, maybe you would want to drive through Skid Row and see (and smell) it for yourself.  I would rather you didn't though, because you are my Princess and I want you to be safe.  Skid Row is dangerous, with intense drug activity.  Ponder upon this food chain: drug abuse → illegal sales → crime → organized crime → big money → big business → corrupt governments.  Plus the trash it leaves behind.  That's just the drug addicts, what about the other poor?  I never was a drug addict.  Instead of going there, you should just watch this video instead.  This bro had the nerve to walk around and point his cell phone at people.

Qur'an 20190623

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

118.  If your Lord had so willed, God could have made humankind one people, but they will not cease to dispute.

119.  Except those on whom your Lord has bestowed God's Mercy, and for this did God create them, and the Word of your Lord shall be fulfilled, "I will fill hell with jinns and humans all together."

120.  All that We relate to you of the stories of the messengers, with it We make firm your heart.  In them there comes to you the Truth, as well as an exhortation, and a message of remembrance to those who believe.

121.  Say to those who do not believe, "Do whatever you can: we shall do our part!"

122.  And wait you, We/we too shall wait.

Hud 11:118-122

Those eyes

Natty, you're so pretty!  I like that shirt, too.  It looks South American.  I'm glad to see that you are having fun.  Those eyes, though.  Make me wonder, "Hmmm?"  Well, I trust my Natty.  She's beautiful, and I love her.  It's probably just a weird photo op.  Go ahead and have tons of fun and make lots of money for yourself, my Darling.  But I do need to remind you to please maintain and protect your purity and chastity.  It's what makes you so valuable, and not just to me.

My elbow looks distorted in these snapshots.  It's a limitation of having a classic or system avatar.  Mesh avatars (are supposed to) have better and more accurate elbows and shoulders.  I guess when I can afford it inshaAllah, I will have to invest in a Bento avatar.  I like my system avatar even though it has its limits.  I've accumulated quite a huge inventory and wardrobe over the years, and I don't want to just chuck that away.

Hi Erin

How'a it going, Honey?  How's work?  I hope it goes easily for you.  Being busy is good, especially if you enjoy what you do.  Please make sure you eat and rest adequately, and stay fit.  It was such a cool morning, so I really enjoyed my sleep last night.  Don't you just love it when sleep is enjoyable?  Makes me want to just keep on dreaming.  But I had to wake up eventually, late as it was.  I did the usual cleanup after the cats, got water, brewed my coffee and tea then made lunch.  Oh, nothing special.  I had one dough ball left plus the rest of that home made beef jerky, so I ate that up.  I could go and buy groceries, but I want to finish off what's left in the cooler.  Today is Friday, so I had to attend the prayer.  Voice training started off sluggish, that's the downside of a comfortable day.  After that, I scrubbed my mother's kitchen floor.  Dinner was steamed rice and sardines, just trying to finish stuff off like I said.  After this letter I go to the mosque, then when I get back I still have a lot of Whitney to study while I work on my wardrobe in Second Life.  Ah, I enjoy that.  I hope you have a great day, my precious love.  I love you.
