Letter to Julia 20140915

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

It's been raining, raining, raining.  It's so wet.  I don't get to go outdoors much when it rains, so I watch a lot of TV, and work on the computer.  Floofy gets frantic when it rains, and moves the brood around.  They can walk and run now, so I have to be cautious not to accidentally step on one of my babies.  But I don't think that letting them wander around the house is a solution.  Do you?  So I sealed them in the cat carrier, put a dry towel over it, placed them n the center of the living room under a recliner far away from the windows, and let their mother stare at them through the bars until the storm blows over.  Bat Cat had a dry left eye somehow, so I put lotion in his eye.  Bob Cat is the biggest of the kittens.  Which I find awesome, because he was the last kitten to start feeding.  When he was just born, I thought he was dead, so I poked him a couple of times to make sure, and he moved a little.  Now he's the beefiest of the bunch.  Could it be that he let the others feed first?  What a gallant cat.  His mother smothers him the most over the rest with kisses, and you should see the expression on his face.  He was the last to die from the previous batch of kittens.  But Allah let me have Bob Cat and Bat Cat again.  Now they are the last to wean.  All the girls have started to eat solid food, but the boys are more interested in playing.  Ya Allah, please protect and heal all my kitties.

There was enough of a break in the rain for me to drive out and buy dinner.  You can come and share my dinner with me.  I bought fried noodles, and a lot of it.  I gave some to my parents, and there's plenty left over.  I pray you are doing well over there, and feeling healthy and confident.  I want you to be happy, and be happy with me.  I wish you the best of everything, and I miss you so.  I love you, I love you.  And I need you, I need you.
