How are you, Honey? I hope you're doing well, and people aren't bothering you too much. What's for dinner? I have some of my mother's curry, I have lots of fresh mangoes, some local sweets, and I think that will fill me up. I was going to cook up some noodles, but I think I will take a nap instead. The weather is nice and cool, alhamdulillah. Otherwise, there's not much going on, just the usual. Ramadan is a busy month with more to do and less time to do it, so this nap is a true luxury. Anyway, take care my love!

Beauty is her own competition
Hi Natty! How's life in Vancouver? I've been seeing stories in the news lately about Vancouver. A lot of jealous people, huh? You're an absolutely stunning beauty, my dearest. So there's no need to show it off. I guess being famous is part of the problem but hey, you wouldn't have gotten this far without becoming famous. You get used to it, right? Ya Allah, please protect my Natty.
Catwa is giving away a free mesh head right now, so I went and got the Freya mesh head for Mary's avatar. It is the latest in modern technology, with all the knobs and buttons you would get for a digital computer beauty. I've been working long hours on it, but I just can't seem to match the beauty of the system head. Allah made that avatar beautiful, and I can't seem to replicate it. I guess I need to put in more long hours working on it, because it would be nice to have the latest technology with all the fancy gizmos. But until I can match or beat the beauty of the system head, I'm not going to be replacing it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you say? Please give thanks to Allah for how beautiful you have become.

Knowledge
Hi Natty! So do you happen to know a good yoga stretch to help ease lower back pain? I was hoping you would show it to me. I guess I have to figure it out myself. I know how to massage for lower back pain. What I can't do is leave my body, turn myself onto my side, then massage my lower back. That's the burden of knowledge, I guess. Instead I had to find the cause of the problem and solve that, then rub myself against the floor or the wall. Not as satisfying as receiving a massage, but I think it's working. I feel I'm gaining my strength back today. Or maybe it was all that sleep I got instead of doing yard work? Maybe I'm just lazy. Yes, I know I'm lazy.

The soft chair
Hey Natty! What's going on? I hope all is well with you. I'm getting along OK, just a little sleepier. It's almost sunset, and I have some local cakes to go with my sweet water. Dinner is my mother's fish curry, with sliced bread. My Mom gave me an office chair recently, with a tall back and soft padding. I discovered that a soft chair is like a soft bed: bad for the back. That's why I'm sleepier than usual, because I've been nursing back pain. What's the yoga stretch for lower back pain? I wish I could give myself a massage. Oh doctor, heal thyself! I'll be OK inshaAllah, I've gone back to a small hard chair which I know is better for me. A steel folding chair would be perfect, but I don't have one. Anyway, I'm going to watch some YouTube while I wait for sunset. I love you!

The path
Hi Natty! Oh, are you missing NYC? That was quite a sudden change you went through. I'm glad you are safe, though. Alhamdulillah. I wish I could have experienced all the fun places and things you did with you, but I had my own steps to take. I don't get too nostalgic about my past. I was telling some old friends, the past is fun to remember but I wouldn't want to have to relive it. Allah saved my life many times, and I got to keep the music, but I lost some good friends. Your path seems glamorous and beautiful, Natty. I envy you that. The present and future is interesting, you must agree. This present and future is unique to you and I more than other people. But we all have our own paths we follow. Ya Allah, please guide us closer than this to the right path.

Lily and Bro
Hi Natty! How are you today? I hope you are cozy and happy and healthy. I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart. I'm doing OK over here. I like Ramadan. Ramadan is a month of plenty as far as I have observed. One is more likely to get bloated instead of lose weight during the fasting month. I try to keep my meals on an even keel as the non-fasting months, so everything is about the same food wise. Dinner is ramen- I love ramen! I have fresh mangoes, some traditional sweets, and a bottle of Coca Cola. Alhamdulillah.
My new kittens Lily and Bro are becoming comfortable in their new home. I took those kittens indoors just in time. If I had left them out, they would have gotten pneumonia the next day. Pneumonia is a death sentence for a cat. I've never known a cat that recovered from pneumonia. Lily is the grey and white kitten, Bro is white with black patches. They are "kampung" (village) kittens, they were most likely born and weaned outdoors, and I'm guessing the father is a white ugly tomcat. They have such dirty faces, unlike Lookie who has spent her entire life inside the house. Lookie has a bright, shining face. Kind of like yours, Honey. Lily and Bro wouldn't sit still for their snapshots. As you can see, I had to hold them by the scruff of their necks. The kittens have ear mites and fleas that I'm still treating, and it looks like Bro has feline fungus. I hate male cats. They're cute and fun as kittens, but when they become sexually aware they are impossible to control. It's either go outdoors or be neutered. A male cat with feline fungus would sever a limb just to get rid of an infected area. I've seen that happen. It's a good thing I have plenty of medicine for that, and it's a good thing Bro is a tiny kitten living inside the house. Imagine trying to doctor an outdoors cat. First you have to catch it, then you have to hold it down. Definitely not a one person job.
