Those kids

Hi Natty!  How are you doing today, my Precious?  I hope you are having a great time, and feeling happy and healthy.  Those kids sure are entertaining, huh?  I only know a little bit of Japanese (from watching a lot of Sailor Moon), but I have a somewhat grasp on what they are saying.  Cheeky little things.

It's Friday over here for me.  Mary Unknown7 is always late on Fridays, because she has to wait for me to get back from the mosque.  She's not going to start or do anything without me, after all, I'm the engineer and she's using my account and computer.  And it's my job to protect her.  Dinner was boring today.  I had some marinated meat and some brown gravy mix, so I had that with a couple a pita breads.  I don't think I'll ever do that again though.  That brown gravy mix is old but still good I think, but only good for stew which I hardly ever make.  Lousy for experimentation.  I have to really clamp down on my spending right now, because I bought too much junk food.  **sigh**

Geek fashion

Hi Natty!  How are you?  Are you enjoying your candy?  I'm enjoying the snacks I have, but oh my teeth aren't as young as they used to be.  I was quite the glutton when I was your age.  I wasn't fat though- I managed to stay trim.  I can't guzzle as much as I used to anymore, I have to be careful.  Dinner was pita bread and tofu in curry that I bought from the local restaurant over at the crossroads.  So good!  I could make my own curry, but alas I've run out of time.  Mary Unknown7 has become a big hit on the Internet, and I have to be with her at all the times she's online.  You know what I mean, like when the psychos start boasting about their guns, I'm the one who has to man the keyboard.

Your flower for today my lady, is a yellow rose from my garden.

Mary wanted to dress down today from the usual slutty dress or gown that rock stars have to wear.  So we opted for this geek fashion, glasses and all.  Today she looks like Velma from "Scooby Doo".  I didn't know at first where to send her for the club routine, but it turned out that she was just right for the blues club.  It was packed there, and they all seemed to know her and gave her a wide berth.  It was the perfect attire for chatting at NCI Kuula.

Snacks

Hi Natty!  How's it going?  Are you taking it easy?  Or are you like my cat, meowing at my bedroom door for me to open it, then walking in, meow a couple of times, then walk back out?  I hope you are feeling good and having a marvelous time, my dearest.  I do love you so.  I had a resolution earlier this month to keep my cooler as empty as possible, which I kept to the most part.  Then things got out of hand when I made that mango dip.  It needed crushed peanuts, so I went downtown to get a bag of peanuts.  Then I started to snack on the peanuts, which I bought for my mango dip snack.  I also have an unopened pack of clearance chocolate chip cookies which I bought the last time I was at the supermarket.  This morning I took my Mom to the supermarket, and saw that potato crisps and my favorite chocolate was on sale so I bought that.  My mother bought me lunch, which was curry pups and a box of chrysanthemum tea from the supermarket, and now that unfinished box of tea is in the cooler sitting next to the 2 jugs of tea I brewed today.  So I didn't save money this month after all.  Now the cooler is full again.  No, the food neither healthy nor efficient.  It's mostly junk food.

For your flower today my love, I found this photo of a pizza with edible flowers!  No, it's not pizza month again.  Pizza month is July.

Tuesday

Hi Natty!  How are you, my love?  I hope everything is super peachy for you.  It is Tuesday, and I'm blogging early.  I am heading to the mosque by sunset inshaAllah.  The cute Jap kids haven't posted their video yet, I'm going to have to repost this blog later perhaps.  I already had my dinner.  Just plain takeout rice.  I went downtown for some peanuts just now, and bought my dinner then.  Yeah, I'm kind of fussy about my peanuts.  So I had to go downtown.  Do you like chocolate?  Just candy?  I love chocolate if it's high quality.  Yeah, I'm fussy about my chocolate too.  Check out these chocolate roses.  I wonder if they taste good.
This guy made a knife out of chocolate.  A real, functioning knife.  But why?  To cut cucumbers?  He seems to have all the tools and a beautiful kitchen.  I guess once you have money, you can waste it on making videos of ridiculous experiments.  This one seems a bit psycho, I think.  Just like the people online that I've been meeting lately.  A job is a job, I guess.

Mango dip

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  I hope everything is going well for you, and that you are feeling happy and healthy.  I feel a bit silly: after preaching all that love philosophy, I forgot to post a photo of a flower yesterday.  Of course you would notice something like that.  Going back and reposting doesn't change the fact that I forgot, so please forgive me.  I have one for you today, though: a sesame flower.
It is mango season today.  There are no Harumanis mangoes in the yard this year.  The old tree is being fussy, and the young trees don't want to give me any fruit yet.  But the huge hybrid is full of fruit and flowers.  Green mangoes are great for dipping, one particular local recipe is called "garam belacan".  Literally translated means "salt and belacan (fermented shrimp paste)", but the stuff I made today is thick soy sauce, sugar, belacan (fermented shrimp paste), and chillies.  Something's missing though: it's too runny.  I've decided it needs crushed peanuts.  So I guess I have to go buy some before I enjoy my mango dip.

OH NO!!!!  I'M SO EMBARRASSED!!!! 😠

Sunday

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  Oh it's been so busy, and you're finally getting some time to relax?  Well, I hope so.  It's Sunday here for me, and every Sunday morning I clean my mother's bedroom.  It's just a typical Sunday, with nothing special going on.  The food is boring, which means that my tummy is happy.  It's been very hot and muggy lately, the rain is teasing but won't come down.  My room is stuffy and I don't have air conditioning.  At least I have 3 fans blasting in the room.  To have them all pointing at me is not working.  I had to point one fan towards the window to move air out of the room, so it's bearable in here right now.  Last night I couldn't work much at all, it was so stifling in here.  I didn't want to drink more Coca-Cola even though freezing cold Coke is pure bliss in this weather.  Iced tea is just as blissful plus I drink it without sugar, so I have a large jug of iced tea chilling in my freezer.  I want some!  Take care Natty, get lots of rest.  I love you.

Qur'an 20200216

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

92.  And to rehearse the Qur'an.  And if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray say, "I am only a warner."

93.  And say, "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you God's signs so that you shall know them."  And your Lord is not unmindful of all that you do.
