Letter to Julia 20120507

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

Ah, it is a beautiful day, with a cool and overcast morning, I could pick cashews and tidy up my yard.  The cashews are ripening all at once, so I had to collect them and give them away.  It rained a little in the morning, but the afternoon was sunny.  And now the full moon is shining brightly, oh it is a beautiful moon!  The countryside is so beautiful, thank you for taking me out of the city, ya Allah.

We must learn to be grateful with what Allah gives us, if we are truly to master patience.  Patience and perseverance go hand in hand, and those who persevere is of course the last one standing.  And the last one standing is of course the winner.  Patience is from Allah, so please be glad of the ease that you do have, and be grateful that you are not out on the front line.  Please do not covet what others have and consider that as success, when it is possible that Allah has prepared something better for you.

There is much going on here, but no money for me yet.  Meanwhile, I have to stay busy, and be grateful that Allah put me in where I can nurture the music and be with my parents.  I sincerely believe that our marriage would be the purpose of your career, and that Allah will grant us success and happiness together.  Don't you agree that profitable work is scarce in the West?  The money has landed in Asia, but the power games and corruption is still the same as it ever was.  But no one knows what they will earn tomorrow, not you, not the billionaires.  We absolutely need the help of Allah if we are to attain success and happiness.  So please be patient and grateful with whatever stability you have, don't blindly crave advancement in the entertainment business, because it's rape, slavery and murder.  Please maintain your prayers, and ask Allah to resolve our love with prosperity and satisfaction.

Thank you for your love.

Letter to Julia 20120504

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

Hey Julia, I've written to you everyday this week, haven't I?  I'm not much of a talker, especially in this public place, but I suppose it must be a taste of when we spend our lives together with each other at all times.  InsyaAllah.  Don't worry, I've give you Saturday and Sunday off, and I'll write again on Monday.  InsyaAllah.  Today is Friday, and I won't have time to play SL: I have to go to Friday prayer.  I was right in the middle of putting together an outfit matching a pair of multicolor shoes I got free from the Galaxy club, when the power blacked out throughout the entire block.  Fun with music and fashion!  Allah knows what kind of earth-shaking shenanigans we'll be up to when we're finally together.  You can still meet me in SL if you want, but if you don't want, then please don't get distraught over my avatar.  This is work.  If you do want to play SL with me, then I should be easy to find.  Of course you already know where I am: I'll be dancing away at the nightclubs.  I'll help you perfect your avatar, if you like.

I love you, Julia!  You're my girl!

Qur'an 20120504

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

23.  But if any reject faith, let not his rejection grieve you.  To Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds, for Allah knows well all that is in hearts.

24.  We grant them their pleasure for a little while.  In the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting.

25.  If you ask them Who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they will certainly say, "Allah."  Say, "Praise be to Allah."  But most of them understand not.

Luqman  31:23-25

Praise be to Allah.

Letter to Julia 20120503

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

Oh my dearest Julia, please do not be upset with me.  It is my work to hang out at nightclubs, and I must have a beautiful avatar, since I have given the knowledge to do so, and that Allah made her beautiful.  I'm not in competition with you, after all, she's only an avatar, and you are real.  You are so beautiful, and I love you so much.  I have repeatedly asked you to join me in SL, because we can be a couple and complement each other.  I respect your reasons for keeping your distance, but since I am left alone, then I must continue my work, and try to get to where I can afford to give you a good life.  And since I am a chick singer, then I must hang out at nightclubs.

Please maintain your prayers, and please be patient with whatever tries you.  Please try not to boast or be too proud of what you have and what you have accomplished, please try to be moderate.  Please try to speak softly in a lower tone.  Whoever holds onto the faith to Allah has truly held on to handle that will not break, and forever secure.

Letter to Julia 20120502

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

As you know, the key to making great fried noodles, and fried rice for that matter, is in the fond.  That's the sauce you make to coat the noodles, prior to adding in the noodles, cooked meat and veggies.  But I find that peeling and chopping vegetables to make a sauce too tedious and time-consuming, especially considering the fact that I don't have a food processor or blender.  So lately, I discovered a quick and easy fond, that is to use leftover curry!  It works great, and I don't have to slave over too much prep.  Hmm.  According to this theory, any sort of leftover soupy saucy foods would make a great sauce for coating noodles.  Just make sure you cook it to death before you add in the noodles.  I wonder how applesauce or baby food would work?  Hmm.  Don't ever try this trick with fried rice, though.  Fried rice is very sensitive, and takes great skill to rise above the many bad versions of fried rice out there.  Ya Allah, thank you for the knowledge and the bounty you have bestowed upon me.

Letter to Julia 20120501

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

YOOOOOOLIIIIEEEE!!!!!

My, you ARE a beauty, Julia.  What a ravishing delight you are, my love, all the more longing I have to embrace and kiss you for hours.  Do you like my SL outfits?  I don't dress as sophisticated and high-class as you.  I like to shoot for a sort of edgy average look in my SL wardrobe, while maintaining a totally girly aura.  That, and I can't afford to spend money on virtual clothing.  It's impossible for me, or any girl for that matter, to wear mini skirts all the time in real life, but in SL I wear nothing but minis.  I love mini skirts.  It's my Sailor Moon influence, I suppose.  Well, sometimes I like to dress completely outrageous, and other times I like to goth out.  It depends on my mood, and which nightclub I have to go to.  Work, work, work.  No Muslim woman should ever dress the way I do in SL, but hey, it's not reality, so I must as well have fun with clothes.

I don't really say much of anything to anone in SL.  But be sure that there are people on the Internet and off who say things justs for the sake of saying it and throwing ridicule, and trying to mislead people from the Path of God.  When such people hear the Signs of God being rehearsed they turn away and pretend they didn't hear it.  For such people, Allah promises a very heavy penalty.

Letter to Julia 20120430

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

It is no wonder who in the world is listening.  To this music, and to the call to God.  For me, I only hope that they will be guided to Allah, and that Allah will reward me, for Allah is the Best to give reward.  But we can't change people who are stuck in their ways.  We can't force the blind to see, nor can we force the deaf to hear.  The only people who will listen are the ones who already believe in the Signs of God, and submit.  But that's OK, don't you agree?  We don't really care about people who don't really care, right?  So please patiently persevere, and don't let them shake your firmness, those who have no certainty of faith.

Anyway, it's mango season!  You want one, my love?  I love you!  Have a mango!  It's ripe, and sweet!  Just like you!  Alhamdulillah, things are growing like mad right now.  Mangos, bananas, cashews, chilli peppers, okra, pumpkin...  Now how about a budding musical tourist attraction?  InsyaAllah!
