Yet another average day

 

Hi Natty!  Oh, look what I saw on Yahoo top searches!  Give my congrats to your big brother.  Whatever it is he's doing, he captured the imagination of the world!  Well, Yahoo users of the world.  I'm sure he didn't kill anybody or take any nudie pics, Honey.  How are you today, my love?  I hope you are enjoying yourself over there, and keeping safe and healthy.

I made a fresh batch of ranch yesterday, with extra onions!  I think you would like my ranch dressing, Natty.  I prefer it over any of that bottled stuff.  My brother gave me some avocados, so I made some sandwiches with that.  Not the best in the world, but it's good enough for here where there are no avocados.  I kept the pit, and I'm trying to grow it.  Maybe a miracle will happen, and I will have my own fruitful avocado tree.  I needed some fried chicken to eat with my ranch, so I went to buy some from a nearby stall but he wasn't there.  I guess he had to compete with KFC, and he didn't want to win.  Or something.  So I made chicken and broccoli tempura for dinner.  It's so easy to make perfect broccoli tempura.  It's as if that vegetable were made for tempura.  For the batter, I used egg, water, corn starch and a packet of chicken seasoning for ramen that I had extra.  I hate chicken ramen, but I thought it would work for tempura.  My chicken tempura could have been crunchier, but I didn't want to overcook it.  Then it occurred to me that I should have drizzled batter over the chicken while it was cooking, like I saw the Japanese chefs do.  Next time, inshaAllah.  It's so easy to be wise after the fact.

Another average day

 

Hi Natty!  How are you doing?  Just sailing along and being a girlie-girl?  I hope everything is easy going for you over there, and you are well and having a splendid time.  It's another average day over here for me.  Not much going on other than the usual same old same old.  I took my mother to the hairdresser in the morning, then we had takeout rice for lunch.  One of the banana trees in my yard fell over, so I had to remove that.  Tonight was the night market so I went to buy my dinner there, after picking up a loaf of bread, some mayo, bath soap and a small box of milk at the supermarket.  I had more takeout rice, plus the stuff you see up top.  After I finish doing wardrobe with Mary's avatar and all the fashion stuff, I'm going to fill in my tax forms.  Yes, it's that time of the year again!  I will show the government what kind of a non-contributor to the national economy I am.  Anyway, I will talk to you again inshaAllah!  I love you!

Just an average day

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  You must be busy being you.  You are the most beautiful girl in the world to me!  It's just an average day over here for me.  Not much going on other than the usual.  I've been feeling so drowsy these past couple of days.  I wish I could sleep it off, but I can't.  Too much to do.  Not much happening on the menu, either.  Just rice.  I really liked that white rice with eggplant omelet and cashew condiment combo I had the other day, so I cooked that up again for dinner.  I'm out of eggplants though, but a plain omelet should do as well.  It's a pure meal, something that sensitive tummies would love.  Anyway, time to move on to the next topic.  I love you!
