How are you today?  I hope you are feeling great, and having a great time.  Just please be safe, eat properly and get sufficient rest, and don't forget to pray.  Don't worry so much about gossip, just as long as you are protecting your chastity because God knows how you are and feel.  Of course, I believe in you.

Nothing special going on here today.  I made a whole bunch of curry pups stuffed with hummus, because I want some ready-to-eat food tomorrow, because I have to clean my mother's bedroom tomorrow morning and I don't want to be bothered with lunch.  Dinner tonight is steamed rice with bamboo shoot curry and crispy anchovies.  Yeah, it's difficult to create variety when you don't have money to spend on food.

Did you mean forgiveness?  I try to be nice, but when it comes to protecting my loved ones, I can get  very militant.  Yeah there's a lot going on out there, but it's mostly God's business not mine.  People should ask God for forgiveness.

Back to work

I'm finally at the tail end of the flu: it turned out to be only a 4 day problem, alhamdulillah.  Time to get cooking again.  I did have to suffer a coughing fit during voice training which spoiled an otherwise good set, but I think I should be A OK tomorrow inshaAllah.  I wanted to cut grass in the evening, but it was raining, plus I had to run to the supermarket for cat food.   So I cooked my dinner instead.  I had 8 potatoes worth of fries for lunch, and I was stuffed.  I'm totally fried out right now.  Fries should be a maximum of 4 potatoes I think, but I had to use up the potatoes.  Last month my Mom gave me some cheap beef, and that was the most expensive element of my dinner.  So dinner was sliced steak and hummus croquettes on an omelet.  It was awesome, even without any sort of sauce.  Alhamdulillah.  Tasted like steak and hummus and fried eggs.  The mustard green flowers are edible, of course.  Tastes like mustard.  What do you think?  Do you think that if I had sold my dinner, I would have been able to afford 10 more dinners just like it?  Nah.  I ate it.  Want some?

Hi there!  How are you?  I hope you are feeling great, healthy and confident.  I'm almost over this flu inshaAllah.  Meanwhile, I've been quite busy on Second Life.  No big bucks, mostly toxic tech talk.  I'm not that great at computer tech, just adequate.  Tech banter has a neutral connotation in general.  But when tech talk gets snooty, then it acquires an emotional connotation, which attracts my interest.  Not that I can match them in technical knowledge, but I'm sure I would be able to trace and match the emotional value placed on it.

The fruit is called "Dukong".  Sweet.  Like grapes.

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

Hello there

How's it going today?  I hope you are doing well and having a great time.  Nothing different going on here today, just trying to get over the flu.  I spent the morning renewing the road tax on my motorcycle, and the evening making hummus and dough.  **sniffle**

Free time

Yeah, I came down with a fever yesterday, so I was forced to give myself some free time.  I didn't go anywhere today.  I still had to voice train.  My voice wasn't great, but I still had a voice, so I had to voice train.  Orders.  After voice training, my fever broke a little and I started to meow again.  I wanted to be full, so I made myself a big, man-sized dinner.  No, I didn't have 3 meals today: the bamboo shoot curry in a hummus bowl was from yesterday.  Lunch was rice vermicelli in soup, and dinner was steak and fries and fried hummus.

Nat, that a beautiful family photo.  I like your brother's rolling his pants legs up.  Very fashionable.  Now he needs to go shirtless, and he will be ready to scrub the bathroom.

I wish my nose were long enough to reach you and smell you.  As for free time, I came down with a fever today, so I had to force some free time on myself.  I like to be lazy when I have free time, just watch TV and veg out.  As for taking time to smell the flowers, it looks like I need to have my flowers imported.  I love you, Erin.

My next door neighbor passed away this morning, so I spent the morning over at his house.  Not so much time looking over the body, but waiting for the hearse to take the body to the mosque for prayer.  There were a lot of people there.
