Ziggy Stardust

 

I found this masterpiece on a cassette at a yard sale.  I also found a small portable mono cassette player the size of a Walkman, also at a yard sale.  It was a Sony, but not a Walkman.  I played Ziggy Stardust over and over again on the tiny speaker.  And to this very day, the tiny mono speaker is my preferred method of listening to music.  Only now, we have cell phones.

I have to admit that the fashion business was fun there for a while, but it became too much work right when they cut me off (Vogue wanted to charge me for using their data) and the girl wasn't really there.  God knows that pretty blondes are my greatest weakness.  But I have grown old and I've had to comfort and cook for myself all this while.  And you know what?  I don't want someone else's cooking.  Don't mistake me for a patient man.  Patience is from Allah.

Book review

 

I don't normally do book reviews, but I do for Vogue.  I used to think that Anna Wintour sent me emails, then I figured out it was just machine generated spam for the May and September issues.  If you wanted me to reply to your emails then write me something more personal.  I kind of lost interest in fashion business, anyway.  I used to have a girlfriend who was a model, but she was unfaithful.  C'est la vie.  I'm going to unsubscribe to Vogue.

Anyway, book review.  The first thing I noticed is that there weren't any beautiful blonde women.  I've already chosen a wife anyway and I didn't see my Grace in there, so I put the magazine down and forgot about it.  Now I need something to post about, so here we go.  Book review, Vogue USA May 2025.  Too many guys.  I don't want to look at a bunch of guys.  If I wanted to look at a bunch of guys, I would watch a football game.  The Dior dresses are nice.  The suit that Teyana Taylor is wearing is also nice, though I would prefer narrower shoulders.  The Thom Browne black and white ensemble.  (Is it really Thom Browne?  Maybe I looked wrong.  I didn't know that I would actually like anything from Thom Browne).  The Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello is nice.  The Martine Rose dress is nice.  I also like the Schiaparelli and the Brandon Maxwell dresses.  Best outfit goes to Dior.

A civil right

 

Congratulations on maintaining your benefit show.  The right to bear arms is a civil right in the US so consequently, gun violence is the responsibility of the people not the administration.  Please don't take security at your event for granted.

I was there

 

I don't want you to ever lose your innocence, Grace.  Innocence can make great music, like "Lucy".  But please be sensitive to that most musicians don't have the luxury of your path.  I was looking for a job when I stumbled upon the office of the "Faces of Death" producer.  They were looking for phone sales, but I guess what they were really looking for were actors.  A lot of death passes by unnoticed in daily life, especially so in the Phoenix area.  So the probability is high that a lot of stuff in their videos is real.  And of course they would lie about it.
