In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
23. O you who believe! Take not for protectors your fathers and your brethren if they love infidelity above faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong.
24. Say, "If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, or the dwellings in which you delight are dearer to you than Allah or God's messenger, or the striving in God's cause, then wait until Allah brings about God's Decision. And Allah guides not the rebellious."
Hi Natty! How are you, love? I hope you are enjoying your place in the world as Mrs. Rock Star. And you're so pretty! Please guard your chastity, safety, and health. You are very precious to me. And to many other people too, I'm sure.
Did you watch the Season 21 finale of "The Voice"? I haven't seen it yet. In fact, I haven't seen a single entire episode of "The Voice". My bad! I guess I was too busy watching cat videos. There's not much going on here today, just the usual. I did my laundry in the morning. In the evening, I drove my mother to the dentist. Then I bought takeout fried noodles for dinner. There are countless recipes for fried noodles out here. The type I bought is called "mee goreng mamak", which roughly means "India style fried noodles." That's not the literal translation. "Mamak" means "a guy from India". The local Malays have somewhat mastered this style of fried noodles then again, there are countless recipes for fried noodles. I just buy from one place, otherwise I would cook it myself. Want some?
Hi Natty! How's it going, my darling? What are you worrying about now? Aw, don't you worry so much OK! Everything is going to work out just fabulous for us inshaAllah. Oh, that's a nice outfit there. That's a tunic, right? You look absolutely lovely in it, my dear. It's a Monday here today. I had a pretty slow morning, and went for a drive with my mother. I cut the grass in the evening. The night market is on Monday nights, but I didn't buy anything. I had scrambled eggs and sliced bread for dinner. Lookie is always in the bedroom with me now, because I want to watch her pregnancy if that. She's a good kitty in the bedroom for the most part, and doesn't knock anything over nor destroy anything as yet. I guess her kittens will spend their infancy in here, she's already found a cubby hole in one of my closets. Anyway, I'm going to see if I can squeeze in a nap before I head out to the mosque for the night prayer. I love you!
Hi Natty! How are you, Honey? It's that time of the year, huh! I'm sure you are busy shopping. I wonder if it's more stressful than ever to shop for Christmas nowadays. I don't know. Muslims don't celebrate Christmas. I guess you get to step up into the mall with the gift of giving, while I slide down the handrail in my sarong. At least you don't have to buy anything for me.
I don't have money for a lot of shopping anyway. All I spent today was on takeout rice for lunch. I would love to go shopping, though. Of course I would buy for others, but probably not as much as you would spend. Please try not to overspend. I don't believe it to be a blessing to hustle and get something for everyone. I think it would be more of a blessing to give to the poor. Have fun this holiday season my darling, please take care of your health and safety, and get lots of rest.
Hi Natty! What's up, Honey? Are you enjoying the snow? Of course you like the snow, you are a ski bunny! Ooh, that's pretty cool art of you. You are such a muse, and a martyr for love. I love you, Natty.
Oh, how small we are. Less than a grain of rice. I hate cooking rice. I don't mind eating rice, but I hate cooking rice. Because nobody eats just white rice, you have to have it with entrees. And that makes preparing a rice dinner very time and labor consuming. Plus it generates so much trash. I would rather just buy takeout rice, and let them deal with the labor and trash. But I cooked rice for dinner tonight. I had bought 2 kilos of boneless chicken breast this morning, and I cubed the whole lot. Then I cooked some in my mother's "Sambal tumis" (blended chillies, onions and "belacan" (fermented shrimp paste) fried until the oil is saturated) to go with a pot of rice. Unlike the video below, I only wash rice when there are bugs in it. If you cooked rice without washing, then it's a straight 2:1 ratio of water to rice. Easy peasy. I don't use a rice cooker, either. Mine blew up a decade ago, but I still use the aluminum pot and lid. Just boil the rice on medium heat until the water reaches the level of the rice, then switch to simmer and put the lid on. When there is no more steam coming out, turn off the heat and let it sit for 10 minutes. That was it for tonight, just rice with one entree. It took me the entire damned evening to cook, eat and clean up. I hate cooking rice.
Hi Natty! What;s going on, Honey? I suppose you are busy being a Christmas angel. Well, you are very pretty. Plesae take care of your health and safety, and have a marvelous time. I just got back from the sunset prayer at the mosque. Today is Friday, and there was Friday prayer of course, but I've begun again to attend all the mandatory prayers along with the congregation, except the dawn prayer because I want to get right back to sleep. When we are married inshaAllah, I will have to spend every prayer with you. It's been a normal day, not much going on other than the usual. Nothing special on the menu either. In the evening I did my laundry, because I ran out of time in the morning.
Dammit, this dress doesn't fit properly on Mary's avatar! It's one of those older mesh objects made for system avatars, but some of the older apparel can be really attractive. Like this dress for example has some really cool back detail, but I didn't show it here. Ahem! Mary's avatar has many clothes that don't fit, so I make them somewhat fit then do photo trickery to make her look best.
Hi Natty! How are you? I hope all is well with you, and you are safe and healthy. I'm a bit grumpy today, I'm afraid. Too much labor. Ironically, more labor is needed to work off the anger. So I did a lot of burning in the evening. About time, too. Things are finally drying up enough to burn. I would have preferred to hammer on the drums. Ugh, my left arm is shaking...
I'm sorry about the interference in Mary Unknown7's set today, folks. Hackers. But I'm sure you stuck around and waited for her to come back, so we would like to thank you for that. She sang a bit of Sia's "Chandeleir" today. I was surprised. She always said she couldn't reach that note, and the song is worthless without that note.
