 In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

13.  Those who lagged behind will say when you march and take booty, "Permit us to follow you."  They wish to change Allah's decree.  Say, "Not thus will you follow us.  Allah has declared beforehand."  Then they will say, "But you are jealous of us."  No, but little do they understand.

14.  Say to the Arabs who lagged behind, "You shall be summoned to fight a people given to vehement war: then shall you fight, or they shall submit.  Then if you show obedience, Allah will grant you a goodly reward, but if you turn back as you did before, God will punish you with a grievous penalty."

Tater tots and grapes

 Hi Natty!  How are you?  I hope you are keeping your distance from the crowd, even though you must be very popular right now.  For me, self-isolation is part of my personality.  There's a spike in covid cases close by, at the city where the vet wanted me to take Floofy to for a surgical procedure.  Floofy is peeing in drips, but at least it's coming out so alhamdulillah.  She doesn't want breakfast or dinner, only snacks, so I have to force feed her antibiotics.  Which isn't easy because she's still strong, and I almost got mauled just now.  I have to deny her water but I offer it to the other cats.  Lily spilled her water so Floofy could drink it.  Aw.  These cats gang up on me.

Dinner was home made tater tots and grapes.  Well I ate the tater tots first, now I'm enjoying the grapes.  They're nice and purple and firm and fat, and I got them at the supermarket yesterday.  It's a simple dinner, I guess.  Want some?

Will eat for fish head

 Hi Natty!  How are you, my love?  Are you full of energy and excitement?  Please do be safe and enjoy yourself.  By last night, I wasn't feeling as miserable as I had during the day.  I was feeling quite neutral actually, even though I couldn't stop weeping.  I wasn't sad, I just couldn't stop the tears.  Floofy didn't want her breakfast today.  I decided that the next move would be for her to go on a water fast, so she would use up the water that's already in her.  This meant that the other cats would get no water too, unless I offered it to them, in which they had no interest.  Cats get most of their moisture from their food anyway.  The floor of the house was dry and disinfected.  Thus it was when I left the house to take my mother shopping.  Floofy was sunning herself by the window and when I got back, there was a small puddle of pee where she had been lying down.  Ah, slight hope!  After Mary Unknown7's vocal session, I stepped on a bigger puddle that was placed in front of the cooler.  I checked Floofy's tummy and it was still bloated, but not so tight.  She didn't want any dinner though.  So later, I cooked my fish head in front of her while I had the other cats locked up in the kitty litter room.  And behold, she asked me for some!  So I shared my fish head with my precious kitty.  Alhamdulillah.

There are some good snapshots on the last page of the How does your avatar look today ? thread.  This guy seems to have a Parisian sense of fashion, but that ear is ridiculous.

Mary Unknown7 has a "average girl" look today.  I guess she's just an average girl at heart.  Pucker up!

11.  The Arabs who lagged behind will say to you, "We were engaged in our flocks and herds and our families: ask forgiveness for us."  They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts.  Say, "Who then has any power at all on your behalf with Allah, if God's Will is to give you some loss, or to give you some profit?"  But Allah is Well-Acquainted with all that you do.

Floofy, I love you

 Oh Natty, I'm so sad.  Floofy seems to be getting worse, and I don't want to lose her.  She was really bloated this morning and only peed a couple of drops, so I took her back to the vet.  The vet said she also had a lot of poop in her, and she couldn't remove the pee.  I needed to take her in for a surgical procedure in the neighboring state to get rid of the pee.  I can't afford that.  I can't afford the procedure nor the journey.  So the best thing she could do was to give Floofy another antibiotic shot.  I took her home, and later I gave her an enema to get rid of the poop just in case it would add relief, but the enema failed.  Even the medicine the vet gave her got puked out.  A bad sign was that she was slow in eating her dinner.  She needs to pee tonight.  Septic shock happens very quickly.  Ya Allah, please don't take my kitty.

Too much stuffing

 Hi Natty!  How are you today, my darling?  I hope you are well, and enjoying yourself.  Floofy is still bloated with pee, but she seems to ooze out enough to stay a few drips away from death.  It doesn't seem like a blessing to me because I love my kitty, but the vet said it wasn't serious, and Floofy appears nonchalant about it too.  Her appetite and energy is normal, even though she spends a lot of her time trying to pee.  Ya Allah, please heal my Floofy.  Please heal and protect all my kitties.

Speaking of too much stuffing, I made curry pups for dinner just now.  I had fish head curry for lunch with pita tacos.  You know, pita bread the size of tacos, but unlike tacos I can tear them and dunk them in my curry.  Anyway, I had some curry left over so I mixed that into my curry pup stuffing.  But I had too much stuffing, so I ended up with curry pups that were bigger than my hand.

Choose your camp and stay there

 Hi Natty!  How's it going today?  I hope all is well with you, and you are enjoying yourself.  These are certainly some crazy times, and you are riding on top of it.  It's definitely not a time to be faint-hearted and crying for peace, because you must be steadfast.  So choose your camp and stay there.  You are MY girl, not all those other girls.  I will marry YOU inshaAllah, not them.  I feel you already know that, and I love you for it.  Just remember to keep your tail out of the fridge so it doesn't get pinned when the door closes.

It's Monday, and it was a busy day for me.  I took my Dad to the hospital early in the morning for a blood test.  Not only that, but my mother made me do some other errands at the same time.  By the time Mary Unknown7 arrived for her voice training, I was emotionally amped up.  It was a good session though, so alhamdulillah.  I went back out afterwards to pick up a cable for the mixer, plus I bought more chicken for the cats, and potatoes because it's almost curry pup time.  Curry pups are such convenient food.  I can eat them standing up while watching YouTube and drying off from a shower.  That wasn't dinner though.  I made cheeseburgers for dinner.  Want one?  I made extra spicy, with chopped fresh red hot chilli peppers in them.
