Have mercy on the poor

Hi Natty!  It's nice to see you again.  You are looking lovely and happy, I hope you are having a wonderful holidays.  You must have gathered countless suitors by now, so please have faith in our love and guard your chastity.  Please pray that Allah will soon grant me wealth enough to finance our marriage and family.  It may be a fad, but I think people are getting quite psycho over this chastity issue.

I am grateful to Allah that you have been granted abundance.  Since it's Christmas, I am taking this opportunity to ask you to please show some kindness to the poor.  Please don't be like those people who call themselves Christian yet they continue to endorse the wealthy who have proven over and over again to have no mercy on the poor, and go so far as to oppress them.

Fried chicken skin

Hi Natty!  How are you, my darling?  I hope you are having a happy and loving holidays, I wish you nothing but the best.  What's happening here?  Oh, my nephew had his circumcision today.  Yes, 'tis the season.  School holidays.  So my brother threw a party for the occasion.  Well, a banquet I guess.  "Party" has a different connotation.  So I had lunch next door.  The fried chicken skin was quite good.  I'm kidding about the fried chicken skin!  Anyway, my driveway was used as a parking lot for the guests.  Mary Unknown7 told me she was uncomfortable with all the traffic going on so close by while she was trying to sing, so we quit 20 minutes early today after a rough start.  Singers are very sensitive, you know.  Especially the females.  Sorry about that, folks.  The strange thing is that she used to be a busker.  I guess we all grow old and weak.

The Dream Bridge

Hi Natty!  How are you, Sweetheart?  Are you having a wonderful and happy holidays?  I hope you are.  Please don't forget about me while you romp in your winter wonderland.  And please don't forget about us and what the future will hold.  After all, we've only just begun.

Have you by chance seen the Dream Bridge?  There is a road at the old town of the city with a department store on the left side and an old church on the right side, and a bridge joining the two buildings going over the road.  Countless children cross the bridge to go to the old church by climbing the stairs at the side of the department store.  But there are also many demons the size of goblins of all the different colors of the rainbow, distracting the children and making them stay at the department store, and not cross the bridge to the old church.  The department store makes a lot of money by keeping the children in it.

O my Lord!  I seek refuge with You from the suggestions of the evil ones.

My beloved Natty

Hi my love!  My Princess!  My Sleeping Beauty!  Are you back within the embrace of your family and your family home, ready to celebrate the warmth of hearts and arts?  (hee hee, I got that from "Groundhog Day")  I want you to know that I wish I were with you to embrace and love you, and how lonely I am without you, and that I love you with all of my heart.  You are my precious and beautiful Natty, and I long for you and think of you all the time.

I just had my dinner.  Well, I had half of it, I was in the middle of eating when they called the sunset prayer, so I'll get back to it after this letter inshaAllah.  I put it under a cover so the cat doesn't get to it.  Floofy is always hungry.  She's always on the prowl for a snack.  But I had to stop all snacks for her.  Why, you may ask?  Because if she snacks, then she'll puke out her dinner, that's why!  It's not easy.  While I'm cooking, she'll jump onto the counter and try to snack.  When my back is turned while I'm at the sink, she'll jump onto the counter and try to snack.  When my back is turned while I'm trying to get something out of the cooler, she'll jump onto the counter and try to snack.  Today I made a mistake.  I was was frying up some croutons, using chicken skin.  Chicken skin makes delicious croutons, but they need a certain amount of oil to fry up then they generate more oil.  I had a plastic bag ready to rid of the excess oil, but it melted and chicken flavored grease spilled onto the counter and the floor.  There's no getting rid of that easily, even though I used lots of paper towels to blot it.  Now Floofy is going to lick that up.  Will she puke out her dinner?  I don't know.  Lately she will snack on anything, like a bug or a gecko, then puke out her dinner, even though I didn't provide her with a snack.  What do I do with this cat?  Do you have any suggestions?

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

86.  Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne Supreme?"

87.  They will say, "To Allah."  Say, "Will you not then be filled with awe?"

88.  Say, "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things, Who protects but is not protected?  If you know?"

89.  They will say, "To Allah."  Say, "Then how are you deluded?"

90.  We have sent them the Truth, but they indeed practise falsehood!

91.  No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with God: behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others!  Glory to Allah!  From the things they attribute to God!

92.  God knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is God for the partners they attribute to God!

93.  Say, "O my Lord!  If You will show me that which they are warned against,"

94.  Then O my Lord!  Put me not amongst the people who do wrong!

Just the usual routine

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  I hope you are having a wonderful time these holidays.  There's not much interesting going on here today, just the usual routine.  Mary Unknown7 suddenly got a fever again while she was singing.  I don't feel that good myself, so I think I'll go to sleep after I post this letter.  I love you!
