Ah... Ramen

Hi Natty honey!  How are you feeling today?  I hope you are coping well and feeling great.  Few words today, but lots of pictures!  I'm going to show you and the world how I make Ramen.
You have to add vegetables to balance the salt of the seasoning packet.  What I have on hand are (clockwise from top left) pickled peppers, kaffir lime leaves, pickled bamboo shoots, fish cake, an egg, and a leftover seaweed sheet from when I made sushi back in January.  Yikes, it's October already!
First, heat up the water on medium low heat.  I have one and a half pints of water today, which is a lot, but I'm adding hot sauce to the soup for some extra kick.  One pint or less should be right if you not adding more flavor besides the seasoning packet.
When the water is hot, add the seasoning.
I added a tablespoon of "sambal tumis" which is chillies, onions and "belacan"(fermented shrimp) blended then fried in oil until saturated.  You can use whatever sauce you prefer like Tabasco or Sriracha, just make sure your stomach agrees with it, and it doesn't screw up the flavor of the soup.
Then add your greens and fish cake.  You can get fish cake at your local Asian supermarket.  The Japanese make awesome fish cake that look like flowers, it can really make your soup look pretty.
Next is the noodle brick.
When the noodles soften, push everything to the side of the pot to make room for the egg.  This is to help allow the yolk to not get squashed.  Gently, gently!
Pour it all into your bowl, with the egg yolk going in last.  Don't break the yolk!  Oh, it's so yummy I can't stand it!  I have to sit and eat my lunch.

Hi Honey

Hi Natty honey!  How are you feeling today?  I hope you are feeling nice and calm, and everything is going smoothly for you.  I want you to know that I think of you all the time, I care for you very deeply, because I love you and I will marry you inshaAllah.  So don't you worry about a thing my precious darling, everything will turn out just great inshaAllah.

I am posting this letter earlier than usual because I want to be at the mosque before sunset.  I try not to miss any of the elderly Qur'an teacher's lectures.  Nothing much happened today, other than the usual.  Nothing special on the menu either, just ramen for lunch and I used up all the curry pups for dinner.  I must show you how I make ramen someday.  It's a great one person meal, and it's not fattening.  Plus, it's delicious.  I love ramen.

Oh, check out my new shoes!  I bought 22 pairs of shoes yesterday.  Great deals!  The new designers are cheaper, and some of them are very good.  I plan to have thousands of shoes.  I love shoes!

Wherever you go, there you are

Aw Natty honey, please don't feel blue.  Everything is going to be just fine, inshaAllah.  I will take sweet loving care of you inshaAllah.  You are my girl.  You are beautiful, and I love you.  I long to be with you, and we will be together inshaAllah, so please be patient.  Perhaps you are finding that even at your escape in Dartmouth, power and excitement follow you there.  That's because you are my Rock and Roll Princess.  It's the same logic as to why I stand my ground here, out in the sticks somewhere in Asia.  Wherever you go, there you are.  This is who we are.  Everyone else is who they are.  You can work in a pizza joint all your life, yet no one can escape tension and adversity.  So do your best with the situation that Allah has given you.  It's what we all have to do.

Yay!  I got a L$150 tip today!  Alhamdulillah!  I'm going to spend it all on shoes!  Shoes, shoes, glorious shoes!  I hope I can get more than 15 pairs of great shoes today.

Please make a donation in the name of Allah of a minimum of one US dollar to a worthwhile charity

Hi Natty honey!  Wow, you look so sharp for a casual day in the park, so naturally beautiful.  Plus you're so well dressed, you look like a billion bucks!  That you are.  That expression on your face is priceless.  Yeah, there's a lot of silliness going around, and we miss a lot of it too.  Did you notice that ih_tash_shaam guy sounds like he's masturbating?  Ew.  Anyway, I'm so proud of you that you stayed and finished school.  Please do well in your studies, and make us prouder.

Sunday is PINK!  Is this pink?  It's the season for the sweater dress!  Nice and warm, but I can still feel a bit of a draft.  I got killed again during voice training by some jealous lesbian named daggerdyke or something.  Hey lady, get your own girlfriend.  I'm taken.

God cannot be upstaged

Hi Natty honey!  How are you doing and feeling today, my beautiful and precious Princess?  I hope you are feeling great and having a marvelous time.  Oh it's just another average day for me, doing the same old same old.  After my morning chores, I had to go to the supermarket to get a pint of milk for my dinner.  Instead of cooking lunch today, I bought some "nasi lemak" (rice steamed with coconut milk and served with crunchy anchovies, "sambal tumis" (chillies, onions, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp) blended then fried in oil until saturated) and hard boiled egg) from some ladies at the side of the road.  "Nasi lemak" has many variations, but the one I had today is the most common.  Dinner was pasta with coconut alfredo sauce again, of course that was what the milk was for.  I finally got the thickness of the sauce right.  I used to think that the thicker the alfredo sauce, the better.  Now I know that the correct proportions of sauce and pasta has to be palatable.  It's weird to see the sauce be so runny by itself, then become so thick when mixed with pasta.  I didn't take any snapshots.  It looks like chicken alfredo pasta.  Tastes like it too.  Have you been watching a lot of TV?  I like to watch TV.  The news is very entertaining lately, lots of comedy.  One thing is certain, God cannot be upstaged.  And the universe is God's office.

Oh well.  The computer wants you to watch a movie today.  Please watch "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013).  At first when I saw Leonardo de Caprio in this movie, I thought he had gotten fat.  Then I realized that he was quite fit: he's just a guy.

When I voice train, I always use the voice channel on Second Life.  As you can see from these snapshots, someone had hijacked the music (streaming) channel.

Friday

Hi Natty honey!  How are you today, my precious darling?  It must be getting colder over there, so that pink winter wear sure looks nice and warm.  Are you relaxing and taking it easy?  I have a feeling you are getting some down time for yourself, which is good.  We need to slow down.  Always conduct your business to slow things down.  Please remember that.  It's just another average day for me.  It's nice and cool though, so I'm in a good mood.  That's one thing to remember about me, if the weather is hot then I'm automatically in a bad mood.  I had trouble getting started with voice training today.  I just learned "XO" by Beyoncé, and I tried to open the set with it.  I usually open the set with a new song, but I couldn't remember the words even though I was staring at the lyrics, so I must have sounded awful.  Then my monitor began to crackle like mad, and I had to fix that and sing at the same time.  Tough beginning today.  I didn't really get my groove until almost an hour into the set.  My Mom gave me some stew, so I had that for lunch.  I made curry pups for dinner, using lentils instead of potatoes.  It turned out awesome.  Alhamdulillah.  Want some?  Oh, I ate them all!
