Puttin' on the Ritz

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  I sure hope you are having a swell time over, and keeping safe and healthy.  Oh, it's been a busy day for me.  I drove my mother around in the morning.  We went and had breakfast at the curry house, then went to the market then the supermarket.  In the evening, I had to go back downtown to buy drugs.  Dude!  Bad fortune at the drug store today.  Long lines and high prices.  Anti fungal cream went from RM 12 to RM 18 in 3 months.  It must be inflation from all the people getting fungus infections from washing their hands more than ever before.  I just got back and had dinner, which was glutinous rice with fresh tomatoes and salted fish.  You must try this combination sometime!  It's so yummy!  Anyway, gotta fly!  I love you!

So much color today!  And I absolutely LOVE these boots!

Some sourness to the sardine

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  It's been one hell of a week, huh?  I hope you enjoyed yourself.  It's Sunday here today.  I spent the evening making dinner.  I seem to have some sardines hanging around my kitchen.  The pasta with sardines I made the other day was quite good, I decided to make it better today.  I had half a pack of angel hair left, so I cooked that up.  The sardines came in 425 gram tins, that's about 14 oz, and sardines usually come in tomato sauce right?  So I just need to flavor the sauce in the sardines, and I used my home made hot sauce.  You folks can try it with 2 tablespoons of Sriracha, it should be close enough.  Fry the sardine bones in some grease with black pepper until brown, then add the hot sauce.  Today I put in a couple of diced Roma tomatoes and half a can of sardines, then cooked and broke that up.  My Mom gave me half a kilo of local limes, known as Calamansi in English.  Each one is about the size of a large marble.  They're tart of course but sweeter than the limes you might be familiar with.  I put in 2 tablespoons of the juice in the sauce, then salt.  Pasta sauces have to be slightly saltier than taste to compensate for the pasta.  To me at least, because I boil pasta without salt.  Adolf Kitler becomes depressed when I don't share my food with him.  He starts crying, then goes and sulks in some corner somewhere.  What a big old baby!  So I gave Lookie and Adolf half a sardine each, then a taste of my dinner and let them lick the plates.  Just a snack, folks!  Don't fill them up with human food, and never use your cats as garbage disposal.

Movie night

Hi Natty!  How are you?  You must be having lots of fun being you, I sure hope you are.  Please keep healthy and safe, and go ahead and spend!  I wish I could spend.  I'm weary of being kept poor.

Tonight is movie night!  "Parasite" (2019).  I have my own washer, and I do laundry twice a week.  I just use powdered detergent, then I line dry my clothes inside the house.  Lately my T-shirts have been smelling like old rags, like the old sarong I wear when I scrub my parents' toilet.  I do have a couple new sarongs, I haven't worn one of them yet, and they don't smell anything like my T-shirts.  I'm thinking that rich people smell better because they can afford to throw away the stuff that stinks.  Besides the wonderful clothes motif in this movie, I also was impressed at the scene where the Kims and the rain water went down and down almost endless flights of stairs into the flood and sewage.  That was masterfully done.  "Parasite" is a great movie, but I don't think I want to watch it again.  Hm.  Maybe fabric softener might make a difference with my laundry.

Avatars don't need to do laundry!  Mary's gown today is:

Favoritism? Damn straight!

Oh, how awesome!  The Sid Neigum FALL 2022 READY-TO-WEAR collection is on Vogue!  I'm still in the middle of Spring 2022, but of course I'll make an exception.  You're fabulous, dahlink!

I had a small pack of sardines sitting around waiting to be used, so I turned it into pasta sauce.  It's simple: just fry up some hot sauce, then add the sardines (already in its own sauce) then break it up and heat it up, then mix in the angel hair.  I had to take out the bones of course, but that's easy with sardines.  Served with plain omelet.  Oh no, I forgot the tomatoes!  It was successful, and the cats had mondo snacks for dinner.

I had to make Mary's thighs thinner to fit in the dress.  An advantage with virtual models.  Her outfit today is:
