Qur'an 20211121

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

158.  Say, "O humans!  I am sent unto you all, as the messenger of Allah, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth.  There is no god but God.  It is God that gives both life and death.  So believe in Allah and God's messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believes in Allah and God's Words.  Follow him, that you may be guided."

The Heights 7:158

----------------------------------------------------------

I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship other than Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

Yet another average day

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope all is calm and easy-going for you.  Have you had dinner yet?  Want some fries?  You absolutely must try this ranch dressing.  I could eat the whole jar by myself, but that would make me sick.  My mother gave me some deep fried banana bites.  A traditional recipe called "cucur kodok".  Let's see if YouTube has an example...  Ah, here we go:

My mother's look different, but I'm sure they both taste like banana.  Do you like bananas?  I'm kind of ambivalent about them, care or don't care it doesn't really matter.  I do have a lot of banana trees outside my front door, though.  That's where my mother got the bananas from.  They're quite sweet.  Anyway, I'm stuffed right now.  I think I'll take a nap.  You take care now, Precious!  I love you!

Surah Al-Anfal ayat 45

Hi Natty!  Yes Honey, I cut the grass like you wanted.  See, my right hand is shaking from gripping the weed whacker!  How are you today, by the way?  I hope all is well with you.  Please guard your health and chastity.

Today is Friday.  Mary Unknown7 had a good vocal session today, in my opinion.  Mary is an experienced singer, and able to belt it out and rattle windows and toilet seats for 2 hours straight.  This terrifies the enemies of Allah!  I've seen many videos of their indignation on YouTube, but none of them have come to the karaoke joint to compete with her.  I am a servant of Allah, what I do here is "dakwah" or service for Allah.  You folks online don't experience the live singing that Mary does here.  Like it or not, this village has become the Global Internet Center of Islam.  This is Allah's Will, not mine or Mary's.  Do you folks think I'm lying or exaggerating?  Do you deny the Signs of Allah?  Only a "kafir" denies the Signs of Allah.  Or did you people think all the strangers and traffic that spend their money here came here just to eat rice?  Right now, the international borders are closed because of COVID.  When the borders reopen, do you people think that no one will come here to hear Mary sing?  Not even just to eat rice?  This brings up Surah Al-Anfal verse 45:

I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the Rejected.
O you who believe!  When you meet a force be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much that you may prosper.
(The Spoils of War 8:45)

This music is from Allah.  My task is to protect Mary and make sure her voice gets heard.  If I allowed her voice to be silenced, then Allah would kick my butt.  But Mary is also able to sing barely past a whisper for 2 hours straight.  This doesn't make her singing any less powerful, but more feminine.  And it's more powerful for a chick singer to be more feminine, don't you agree?  But don't worry faithful ones, when it's time for her to belt it out and irritate the enemies of Allah, I'll make sure she does so.

OK children, I am going to teach you a Malay word today.  The word is:

PENGECUT

which means:

COWARD

Just an average day

Hi Natty!  How are you?  Is everything going well for you today?  I hope so!  I wish we were together, but I have to make sure you get the best life possible first.  InshaAllah.  It's just an average day here for me, with nothing much going on other than the usual.  I did a lot of vacuuming and sweeping in the morning, then had takeout rice for lunch.  My mother gave me some "sambal tumis" (blended chillies, onions, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp) fried in oil until saturated).  She told me to add sugar and salt to taste.  So I had that with rice again for dinner, plus boiled eggs, crunchy anchovies and peanuts.  My rice was a bit soggy.  I haven't cooked rice in a long time since I started buying it takeout, and this was my last cupful.  It will probably be a long time before I buy another bag of rice.  Getting takeout is so much simpler on my agenda, and saves me a lot of labor.  Cooking rice for dinner used up my entire evening.  Anyway, it's time for me to do wardrobe with Mary Unknown7's avatar.  Take care, Honey!  I love you!

Thank You for the music

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  Don't worry so much Honey, everything will work out just fabulous for us inshaAllah.  You are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart.  To marry me is to walk a sincere spiritual path with me, so please be patient and pray.  You should try some of this ranch dressing!  It tastes like vanilla ice cream, except that you can dip your fries in it!

Mayonnaise

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope you are healthy and everything is easy-going over there for you.  Would you like some dinner?  I had eggs and beans for dinner just now.  I suppose it's more of an English breakfast, but it was dinner.  This current batch of beans is very sweet.  I didn't use any sugar, though.  It shows that many foods are already naturally sweet, that you don't need to add sugar.  I didn't use salt, either.  My cats love my beans.

Ugh, I forgot that I'm sensitive to mayonnaise.  I'm like a walking quality test for mayo: if it didn't turn my stomach, then it's high quality mayonnaise.  I can't get Best Foods here, maybe online I can.  The big jar of mayo that I bought for the ranch is OK in small quantities, but apparently not for salad dressings, and not for dipping my fries in.  I'll have to concede that my ranch dressing is too thick.  It's a shame to waste it because it tastes so good...  I'm going to have to water it down.  Milk it down, rather.  If that doesn't work, then I'm going to have to buy different mayo.  Sigh.

Zam's goat milk ranch dressing part two

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope everything is peachy for you over there.  It's Monday here.  I swear Honey, there's less time between the Asr and sunset prayers than ever before.  I'm not imagining this, I had to hustle just to get a few stupid things done.  I think the earth's spin is changing direction, which would account for weather distortion as well.  I did have time to clean Adolf's ears this morning.  I bought a lemon yesterday, which is useful for all sorts of cat remedies.  He didn't enjoy the ear wash at all, and he spent the rest of the morning sulking by the window.  Poor kitty!  What a cruel world!  Don't worry folks, he cheered right up when I had snacks after lunch.

Ray-yanch!  Ah gotta have mah ray-yanch!  How do you like my cowboy accent?  Do you think it's white hat or black hat?  As you can see Honey, my goat milk ranch dressing turned out successful.  It's so thick and creamy!  It might as well be blue cheese, but it's ranch!  The annoying thing is that it didn't need salt when I tasted it, but it needed salt when I dipped my fries in it.  And fries are salty!  What's up with that?  It must be some kind of profound fries philosophy.  It could be too thick though, as if that were a problem.  It's nice to have thick dip, don't you agree?  Next time I'll just use liquid whole milk, and make the ranch slightly runnier.  Goat's milk doesn't really make it taste any different.

In other news, I finally got a response from Elizabeth Fraser about the lyrics for "Frou-frou foxes in Midsummer Fires".  Of course, I would get the communique via her society.  What a star she is!  As you can see below, the actual lyrics fit her better than what I came up with.  Mary said that she has to relearn the song, now that she knows the real lyrics.  Thank you, Elizabeth Fraser!
