Ramadan is almost over. Just a few more days, and it will be over. I don't think I leveled up this Ramadan. I merely survived. I guess that means something, so Alhamdulillah.
What were the Israelis thinking when they massacred those relief workers? "No more fasting for you." "The April 3 massacre."
Wow, that girl in the video looks just like Mary! Maybe she is Mary... Check it out folks, I found on YouTube a video of the Carpenters performing live at some college campus for the Ed Sullivan show. From the way Karen looks, it has to be around 1970. What's most fascinating to me is how solemn the crowd is.
Hey, Ramadan is almost over! Time flies when you're having fun. Less than a week now, then I can drink coffee in the afternoon. Now that I recall, Allah did increase my workload. So fasting this year came with extra pressure, plus it's been hot and humid. It's 5 effing am right now and I need to shower to cool down. I have to push on. Plus Mary needs to be protected, again I'm the only one who can do that. Doing it all alone isn't a blessing, but at this point I don't care anymore. I've run out of time. Ya Allah, thank You for a great Ramadan.
This Ramadan has been difficult for my body to handle. Either I'm getting old, or the work has become more difficult. Well, we all have to die. From Allah is our origin, and to Allah is out return.
I had dinner at the mosque last night. No there wasn't a feeding frenzy going on, rather I had been absent from dinner there lately because of the rain. "Nasi kerabu Kelantan" was served again, but this time with fried chicken instead of fish. Wise. Most of the locals took the package home. I like this stuff. I ate it without any of the sauces, though.
I bought some raw peanuts this morning. I thought I would roast them in the evening, but I still had some lentil fritter mix left, so I decided to use that up first. I had been cooking up lentil fritters for the guys at the mosque and I had some mix left over. Strangely enough, every batch of cookies I fried up turned black no matter what I tried. That was a first for me. I didn't ponder on why, I just chucked the whole lot away then roasted the peanuts.

151. Say, "Come, I will rehearse what Allah has prohibited you from." Join not anything as equal with God. Be good to your parents. Kill not your children on a plea of want: We provide sustenance for you and for them. Come not nigh to shameful deeds, whether open or secret. Take not life, which Allah has made sacred, except by way of justice and law. Thus does God command you, that you may learn wisdom.
I don't really think too much lately. I'm rather busy with the Qur'an right now, so I guess I'm letting God do my thinking for me. I have made a decision about my wife, though. It's absolutely ridiculous that I seek a wife while I'm broke, so I'm going to build the house first before I find a wife to put in it. InshaAllah. I like blondes, ya Allah. God knows what's going to happen to me. Perhaps Allah will grant me a gorgeous and faithful blonde wife along the way. That girl in the video above is pretty, but she had better learn to mellow out because she's definitely going to turn into a Karen. Learn to speak with grace, and it will influence your thoughts.

43. What! Do they take as intercessors others besides Allah? Say, "Even if they have no power whatever and no intelligence?"
It's movie night again! Watch a movie with me! "Next" (2007). Nicolas Cage doesn't strike me as a romantic lead, he should avoid doing any smiling and kissing. And Julianne Moore can't run. It's a shame she's been typecast as a cop, because she can't run. Be gentle with those knees, Honey. Otherwise, this movie does work as a thriller. It's got that nice time loop going without getting excessive. There's no need for a sequel. But the story probably would have been better if he never left the casinos, and the nuke never came into play.
I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the rejected.
77. Have you not turned your vision to those who were told to hold back their hands but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! A section of them feared people as or even more than they should have feared Allah. They said, "Our Lord! Why have You ordered us to fight? Would You not grant us respite to our term, near?" Say, "Short is the enjoyment of this world. The hereafter is the best for those who do right. Never will you be dealt with unjustly in the very least!"
